Petetion to stop the Duke's "love tap"

Yes, like Wal-Mart is the ONLY place that sells games. Even if this petition does force Wal-Mart not to sell the game, (which I doubt) there will be many other retailers who will sell it. So they're just wasting their time.

If it weren't for the fact that DNF is BLATANTLY parody, I think that they would have the right to complain and try to rally like-minded individual against the game. However, the over the top stereotypes of both male and female saves it from being in truly bad taste, Honestly, a Babe slapping mode sounds more like a tounge in cheek sexist thing then a domestic violence thing. And that's fine as long as the audience it is presented to can see it as parody, and not a real artistic intention in and of itself.
What I had to wonder about is the part of the article that says Duke Nukem encourages the whole violence toward women thing.
It's been a while since I've seen a game of his but I recall one thing quite clearly. When my brother was playing, he gets to this apartment where this dominatrix chick is. She and Duke trade barbs or whatever. Now my bro is immature so he had Duke beat her up and stuff.
The moment she went down, like 5 enemies at least spawned in that little room at the exact same time.
Now if any of the other Duke Nukem games did that, I hardly think we have to worry about men just going after women all willy nilly. Plainly show consequences to your actions.

Fox, you should just give up on this. Usually people who judge things are at the very least EXPERIENCED in the things that they judge.
What annoys me about this issue is that all the complainers and petitioners and whatever have this idea in their head that you'll be kidnapping a woman, forcibly dragging her back to your base to be gangraped by you and your teammates, and if she starts to scream for help, you beat her until she shuts up.
But that's not how it's going to play out at all. I know this for a fact without ever having seen the mode, and so should everyone else - because that is not how Duke operates. As someone earlier in the thread put it, "he loves the ladies, and the ladies love him". Duke would not kidnap a woman. For one thing, that's not his style, and more importantly, he wouldn't need to - they'd be climbing over each other to be the one to get 'kidnapped'.
So how exactly will this mode play out? I don't know. Maybe it'll be a team of Dukes VS a team of aliens, with the Duke team rescuing women from the aliens while the aliens kidnap women from the Dukes. Maybe everyone will see their teammates as Duke and their enemies as aliens, and the women see it through the perspective of whoever is carrying them at the time. One thing I know for certain, however, is that Duke will not be forcefully kidnapping screaming, resisting women. So why can't everyone stop implying that's how it will be?
