The Princess is in another castle.
Cover me while I reload [footnote]I thought it sounded good, but when they say that every other time they reload I'm going to kill those guys[/footnote]
Anytime you get a random Pokemon appearance in caves. I hate Zubats.

That "tink" noise when someone throws a grenade at me in MW2.

Also, the growling of a Tank in L4D. As if the horde coming wasn't enough.

What was worse than that was in COD4:

The 'tink' noise of a grenade after you just killed someone...

"Sir, our men are running away" - damn you Austerlitz!
Amen to that haha.
Also "Sir, Sir! Our General is under attack!" or "These troops have used all their ammunition!"
In fact really anything that pops up in that God forsaken window...It never has anything nice to say =(.

"oh boy, I can't wait until I retire after this mission!"

It is then that I stop using that person.

"We should split up" - ANY GAME
"Probe away" - Mass Effect 2
"I'll take those" - Gears of War 1/2, same with most "catchphrases"

Also, any non-MW2 variation of the "Ramirez! Do Everything" Trope and the whole "Tell my kids i love thAAAAAARGH!" Thing, wich is mostly just too cheaply used.

And almost everything any character in any game says every.single.time. when the player pulls a specific gameplay action.
ESPECIALLY when you're probing Uranus!! hurhurhurhurhur!!!

I hate the sound of milk pouring into a glass in commercials or stuff like that, it makes me cringe, it doesnt sound like the real thing at all!!

"Don't relax just yet marines."

"Don't relax just yet marines."

"Don't relax just yet marines."

"Don't relax just yey marines."

Me: "SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

Anybody who played AvP will know what i'm talking about, i almost think the Dev's made the marines so annyoing just to make ripping the morons apart all the more satisfying when playing the Alien or Predator.

"Why is it called Final Fantasy When there are so many of them?"

Its a genuine question. Its ok. Unless your me Who knows the bloody answer!
Way back when, square were about to go under. They sunk all their remaining funds into a single project. They named it "final fantasy," as it was either going to do well or they were completely done making video games.

Afterwards, all their "final fantasy" games are developed with the same suicidal investment. They either do well or they get bought out by enix. Which they did. Now they're whores.

OT: anything my character may say in any situation that isn't a cutscene. Prototype was particularly guilty of this.
I dont think you understood his post. THis may be because you are not intelligent. This is my guess. enix did not buy out square, and they do not risk the whole company on the latest FF game. to think so is lunacy and a likely indicator of a concussion. You should check your facts before uttering them

I am sick of the chatterings of random NPCs in western RPGs.
Why do they call me avatar? *punches in face* THAT's why, *****!

"You must construct additional pylons."

I play as Protoss most of the time and this really grinds my gears, almost as much as hearing someone abuse the term "Zerg Rush"

There's two good examples of this I can think of (one of them a joke), but you're right for the most part. Examples:
1. Futurama, president of the neutral planet: "If I don't make it out, tell my wife...hello."

2. Mass Effect 2, on Tali's loyalty mission. I bet you all know what I'm talking about. "Mommy loves you very much!"

Any line spoken just after a save point in COD 2...

"Sir, the guns are gone!"

"What?"

"The guns - aren't - here! The krauts must have taken 'em someplace else!"

"Well hell, keep moving! We're sitting ducks out here!"

Quoted from memory of my veteran attempt (which I eventually succeeded in).
God, I remember that. Fun mission (if difficult), but that line...

"HEY! HEY! HEY! LISTEN! LISTEN!" - A certain glowing little fairy who, were she to be featured in another game, would lead to a complete boycott of anything Nintendo-related. I might even consider staying clear of anything Japanese, to be on the safe side.
I'd pay to get more of that...

O.T.
"You're health is low! Do you have any potions - or Food?"
"Try to get your combat multiplier even higher!"
I love how they referenced that in the sequel, what with the legend that the Guildmaster was found dead with the words "Your health is low" carved into his forehead.
