But doesn't Mewtwo converse psychologically? How exactly would that work out?
Mewtwo can speak normally, if I remember correctly.

I think he did so in whatever movie was "Mewtwo: The Return".
Man, the only Pokemon movie I liked (even as a kid) was the first one.
And 4ever.
What about the Power of One? It had the only Pokemon-related oneliner that was genuinly funny instead of just awkward or stupid.

Slowking, standing in the middle of a blizzard: *Sigh*, I wish I had pants.

... okay, maybe not ace material, but dammit, it made me laugh.

The Pokemon franchise is the second most popular game franchise of all time behind Mario. To think that they'd actually stop making games is naive.

But I like being able to do more than 40 damage with dragon attacks and being able to use other types besides psychic.

And the opponents having limited PP.

And continuous moves not eating your turn.

And freeze not being permanent.

And having decent bug Pokemon.

And having decent looking sprites.

And being able to do new things after the elite 4.

And mudkipz.
Use a lvl 41 dragon and dragon rage

Opponents DO have limited PP.. But may have higher PP cuz they used PPups themselves (lol peepee)

Continues moves only eat the turn you activate them :p with one or two acceptions

You can defrost randomly anytime or if you're hit with a fire-based move

first elite 4... there are decent buggies. They just have their own merrits :p

When will they be able to render a pkmn in 3D properly -.-

And yes... that's what goes on..

I must say, have you even played pokemon in the past 10 years?

I never liked catching legendaries. It seems like such a bad idea to put the pokemon that's in control of time in a pokeball then use them to fight carterpries and magikarps. or put dragon pokemon that are millions of years old and have an intelligence higher then that of a humans and put them in a computer.

thats why I liked the originals because the pokemon where just animals that you fought with, not really super intelligent beings of primordial power. Some were like that but you could really catch them
Alakazam had an IQ of 8000 and was essentially a living supercomputer. The 1st generation had a lot of pokemon like this, just like the others.
well ok but still. He wasnt the pokemon of time, or some stupid little foating ball that was around before the earth was formed.

I dont mind the new pokemon, its just the legendaries that are getting way out of hand.
Yep. The legendaries are stupid. Arceus should be able to rip the very molecules of your charizard apart and send them to distant stars and then send you to an eternal hell where he rips you apart and hten forms you back up again(pretty much like that greek mythology guy who had his liver eaten away every day because he stole Fire for humanity)
Teach you to stick him in a pokeball.

I suppose that the only reason alakazam listens to anybody is because you built his trust when he was an Abra(being blind and all)

the people who say, "I get the ones I like" Well... You haven't been able to do that actually either since the red and blue games with their mew glitch.

I don't think we will ever be able to and it's bullshit. Especially when they keep adding pokemon that are WORTHLESS and do nothing for the game or meta and they STILL HAVE ZUBATS AS THE ONLY THING YOU CAN FIND IN A GOD DAMN CAVE!

Gaharg.
Yes! Somebody else hates zubats as well. Everybody complains about Bibarrel looking stupid, but they forget that Golbat was the original and it was fast, so you couldn't run away and it would confuse you, so you had to spend a long time fighting it while looking at its face.

What about magmar? It was a humanoid duck that was on fire and had an ass on its forehead.
How can you say something bad about Magmar?

yeah, but it wasn't a freaky combination of animal and combustion as well. I can handle a pokemon looking like a body part, but when it's also on fire and a duck, well...how can you say that's not weird?

But I never liked Lugia, so it killed the whole movie for me.

Ho-oh is the king!
Oh, it's on now, *****.

Nah, I can't pull that off.

What are you talking about? I've captured all 150.

Insist there's more and I'll correct you with red or blue, there is no more than 150 and if you suggest differently you'll be slapped by a lickatongue or something equally worse :|

I'm more or less joking. I would say something positive about Gold or Silver but I bought both of them for my friend and I to play when they first came out and I had little money, they BOTH got stolen somehow and I never got to play past the first gym leader.

So now I bought the remake gold and silver for my friend and for olde times sake so maybe I'll change my tune then. Till then LALALALALALALA LAAA LA LA LA LAAA :|. See there's a hidden pun there being childish ....no? ...:C ....

I don't care how weird that thing was, it was a duck. On Fire. With an ass on its forehead. In my mind that still translates as 'fucking sweet'.

Aside from special events and pokèmon exclusive to peripherals. When can my mind be put to rest knowing that I have mastered all that is and ever will be pokèmon?

With more pokèmon games n junk coming out after Soul & Heart (been creaming my pants since i first saw the covers nearly a year ago xD). Is it getting to be too much??

(Gamefreak, if you're gonna add 100+ new fodder.. at least throw in a new type here and there.)

Best thing ever was when they decided to keep the Kanto area when making the GB Gold and Silver to be re-imagined after Johto :)
To be fair different types of animals live on different landmasses. Where the environment changes in Pokemon we find different species where the environment is the same we find the same species.

The entire point of legendaries for a while has been to describe the timeline of creation in the pokemon universe from the very beginning (which they've reached with Arceus) and now they can move on to whatever their next goal is.

It has been somewhat planned, I mean Ho-Oh was in the first episode of the pokemon TV Series :p.

Whenever they run out of new "Legendaries".

So soon.
Because, you know, they've used most things.
Even God, for Arcerus' sake!
HA pokemon of all things has a religious diety and yet they still have "God like" pokemon that can control space, time and even seasons. Pokemon must have the most messed up fictional Religion ever. (I caught them all with action replay : D Still the only pokemon game I don't plan on cheating in is Heart Gold)

I mean, he's got a fucking Rainbow for a tail
Ho-oh is not more awesome than Lugia. I will agree that he is more of a pimp than any other Pokemon ever will be. And that includes Honchcrow.

Well, the legendaries did start getting crazy in the 3rd gen, when you were expected to stop them and thus they became associated with broader concepts instead of specific mythological creatures.

I'm talking about the first games, where all of those issues are present and can be extremely aggrivating to encounter. I've played all the games and I am literally two pokemon away from having every single one currently out in my PC. This was just a response to a post about the first games being the best.

Also, dragon rage always does 40 damage, unlike seismic toss or nightshade, which do damage equal to your level.

Honchcrow could SOOOOO pull off the swagger like Ho-oH's some sorta quadraplegic.

But Lugia's SLICK, pure class man-

@randommaster: Ah, sooo sorry. <3 completely missinterprited your post... and then to be mistaken about dragon rage... hoo boy.

If pokemon were a serious thing i'd be ashamed by now ):

HOW DARE YOU INSULT POKEMONISM?!
Now ...
Wait, who's Satan?
Charizard?
Yeah, Charizard!
NOW CHARIZARD WILL MURDER YOU IN YOUR SLEEP!
But, I have a Charizard, does that mean I control Satan? And that Satan likes me?

Pimppeter2 should be in a Pokemon game.
Then he'd be the pimpiest of all.
The sheer pimpingness of that would give Ho-oh and Honchcrow Bird Flu. And Swine Flu.
