Pokemon Heart Gold/ Soul Silver

Both games have been confirmed for Fall 2009 in Japan. All I can think of is buying a DSi again to be able to play them . What are your thoughts on the Gold/Silver remakes?

Well, I think the Fire red and Leaf green did incredibly well, though.. Gold/Silver were only good 'til a point, the only reason I liked Gold/Silver in the first place was because of Flaffy and Miltank. :x

Really? I loved those games when they came out, but then G/S kinda copped out after awhile. Pokemon has to be the only JRPG I have and probably ever will enjoy playing.

Considering my Silver Version has buggered up on me, this is excellent. I just hope they don't bugger it up too much with better graphics (a problem that I had with Fire Red/Leaf Green.

If this is some sort of ploy to see if I'll buy the games then they're sadly misconstrued.
Has Gamefreak's President gotten any shrapnel lodged in his brain, because I was familiar that the only good games of the series have long since passed and the gameplay additions continue to distance itself from what made the game great.

Screw Nintendo, I'm going to go hug Valve EVEN MORE just because of this thread.

Anyway, I think remaking Silver and Gold might not be such a great idea.. Because then the next logical step would be to remake Pokemon stadium for the Wii... Or even worse, Pokemon Snap. :/
