Pokemon RP Slots closed Chapter 11: I'm on a boat!

Rodney was shocked but he did see what had happened, he turned to Lucario and said "You're an asshat you know that?" Lucario didn't respond but instincively put up a fist, Chompers jumped to Rodney's side.

Rodney stepped between the two Pokemon and said again "Chompers, calm down. Now Lucario what I mean is that pokebattles are meant to be fun, don't ruin it by being a bully." Lucario looked at the ground and said " Fine...but next time Chompers gets in my way I'm going to punch his ever-so precious teeth out"

Rodney sighed...

Magnus finished a battle and was looking around, he saw that he had another challenger waiting patiently for him, but he decided to wait for a moment, he was looking for a Pokemon in the grass. He looked down and he saw a slender body with a large bushy tail. He called out Quillz and she prepared to attack it.

"Use Swift." Magnus told her. The star-shaped rays struck the Pokemon and it jumped up and used a Quick Attack. It was a Furret, and an excellent specimen of one at that.

"Quillz, use Ember!" The flurry of small flames struck the Furret and knocked it down.
"Alright, Pokeball!" Magnus hurled a Pokeball at it and it shook and shook, and slowly pinged. "Kickass, that's two-for-two! Great job Quillz!...Quillz?" Magnus searched for Quillz but she had gone off, leaving no trail behind.

"What's the matter Magnus?" Aari asked him. "You look worried."

"Have you seen Quillz, she just wandered off."

"Yeah, I think I just saw her go that way." Aari led as they ran to a nearby oak tree, under which Quillz was curled up.

"Quillz..." Magnus scolded her. "Do I have to chase after you every time you run....off?" Magnus's stopped his chastising when he saw what Quillz was curled around. Held against her soft fur was a small mottled egg.
Magnus kneeled down and patted his Pokemon's head gently. He stared at the egg in amazement, unable to say but a small phrase.

"It's...beautiful."

Jeffery was talking having a hushed discussion with lucario about something when Jeffery turned to see magnus crouched down next to quillz who was on her side curled thinking something was wrong jeffery ran over to magnus.
"hey magnus is quillz....alright" he asked trailing off at the end when he laid his eyes upon the egg,he then knelt down next to magnus and stared at it.
"it`s beautiful is`nt it Jeffery" magnus said with a calm grin on his face like he was at peace with the world.
"yeah with all this team rocket stuff that`s being going on you start to think that the world is a horrible place but moments like these just sort of make it all better y,know" Jeffery said still staring at the egg in amazement.
"yeah Jeff could you please go away I mean quillz just laid an egg I think she wants some privacy" magnus said with that same calm grin on his face.
"oh right of course,of course" Jeffery said getting up and walking away back to lucario who was still in the same spot.
"hey man quillz just laid an egg" Jeffery said to lucario pointing behind his head at the pair.
"ahhhhh you gotta love it when a new life is created" lucario sighed with what looked like to be a smile on his face.
"holy crap you`re smiling what the hell man" Jeffery said through the chuckling he was doing.
"well it is beautiful when this sort of thing happens" lucario said staring at the ground.
"well anyway now that you can talk there are still some things we need to discuss" Jeffery said lowering his voice to a whisper.

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

Magnus pulled out the woolen hide of the Mareep he had killed prior to entering Cerulean City and carefully put the egg in the center and wrapped it up in it. With the egg carefully warm and protected he placed it in his backpack. Magnus pulled out Quillz's pokeball and called her back.

"You deserve a good rest, that must've been tiring." Magnus said to her. "Don't worry, I'll take good care of the Egg."

"Oh Magnus, you must be so proud." Aari said and smiled at him.

"Yeah, I am proud." He grinned as he felt the weight and warmth of the egg in his backpack.
He walked back to the Trainer who wanted to battle him before.
"Alright, let's battle." Magnus challenged the Trainer. "Let's see what you can do. Go Scout!" His new Furret beamed out of the pokeball and hissed at the other trainer.

"Go Oddish!" The other trainer called out a small grass Pokemon and the battle began.

"Scout, use Quick Attack!" The Furret quickly struck the Oddish and knocked it back.

"Oddish, Absorb!" A green beam hit Scout and drained some of its energy, but it quickly shook off the attack.

"Now, Dig!" Scout went underground and waited for a moment.

"Oddish, Sweet Scent!" A slight pink cloud emanated from the Oddish's grass-hair and floated in the air, unable to permeate the ground.

"Now!" Magnus commanded Scout to come up, and it struck the Oddish from underneath, knocking it out and ending the battle.
"Scout, return." Magnus beamed his new Pokemon back inside its pokeball. "And that's called a victory."

Jeffery was still talking to lucario secretively so that no one can hear the`re whispering was interrupted when Aari came over to talk to them.
"hey guys what`cha talking about" she said with a smile, Jeffery and lucario simply glared at her lucario showing his teeth.
"aw c`Mon it can`t be that private" she said prying into their business.
"oh yes it is that private" Jeffery said in a cold tone still glaring at Aari with a threating glare.
"okay uhhhhh well then I`l leave you to your discussion then" Aari said walking away but she was able to hear one line of their conversation as she was walking away:
"oh c`Mon how long can they honestly hold a grudge it`s not like they needed it anyway" Jeffery said whispering.

Ooc: Yeah, didn't think it was my place to post yet.

Night had fallen and the group hadn't even moved an inch from the battle area, it was Rodney's turn on camp watch.

Luckily there was nothing to be heard save the scratching of bug pokemon and the odd howl of a Hoothoot.

Suddenly the forest began to glow in colours of yellow,red and a crystaline blue. Rodney saw three figures off in the distance, one shaped like a arcanine, the other like a very,very bulky yellow persian and the other almost like a rapidash but with a large crystal in it's head.

The three figures jumped into the night's sky over the group and the camp znd again ran off, the light the brought with them now faded.

Rodney woke up the group and told them he had just seen the Three Legendary Dogs

Jeffery was up in his bed with an angry look on his face.
"you`re kidding me you woke me up to tell me you saw three creatures that don`t exist" Jeffery said with an angry look on his face.Rodney stared back with a look of shock.
"wait are you telling me you don`t believe in legendary Pokemon" Rodney said confused.
"no I don`t now maybe you should get some rest you`re starting to see things, I`l take your watch and I`l take mine" Jeffery said getting up and going outside taking his Pokemon with him.

Once outside he decided to let lucario out and tell him what he and Rodney talked about.
"dude legendaries exist don`t ask me how I know,I just know".lucario said with a serious look on his face.
"yeah but have you ever actually seen one up close it just seems like a myth if you ask me, like the red garados" Jeffery responded staring at the sky.

OOCkay well the basic gist of what happened while you were gone is that we fought three rockets at the beach in cerulean city ending with us in hospital and them dead magnus had to go to court for assault with a deadly weapon but got off with a fine we then decided to take route 9 to celedon so then we can backtrack to vermillion to trick the rockets and then Rodney`s ratta evolved so did my riolu. that`s about it except for what`s happened on this page

Ooc: I had an idea tell me what you think, that each of us has a "guardian" legendary for example Rodney: one of the dogs, Aari: Mew or Jirachi (Just for example) tell me what you think. And by no means does this mean you are going to capture them, oh and last point: has to be an active legendary not dormant like Groudon and Kyorge or incredibly well hidden like Deoxys or Arceus.

Aari awoke with a startle. ?Legendary Pokémon?? she asked.
Rodney replied and she came out and sat beside him. The moon shined upon her.
Since Aari was in a nightdress she grabbed a blanket and wrapped herself around in it.
She turned to face Magnus and Jared; they were half asleep, snoring lightly. Aari giggled.
She then turned her head to the right, looking Jeffery in the eye. ?I believe him? she said.
Jeffery sighed and sat down on top of his sleeping bag. His eyes met the moon.

It?s beautiful, the moon and the stars. I feel like somebody is watching me.

Aari?s head fell upon the shoulder of Rodney. She closed her eyes. She laughed.
?I need a pillow? Aari said, laughing. She threw off her blanket and grabbed her pillow.
She lay beside Rodney with her blanket over her. ?Good-night? she whispered.

And fell asleep?

Rodney still on watch, looked about the small campsite and smiled at the site of the two eggs by the fire, one of them Aari's Togepi having curled itself up back into the shape of it's egg.

Rodney thought to himself of what had just occured, Maybe I did just make them up...but I couldn't have! I didn't see them very clearly but I know what I saw! Rodney looked at Aari sleeping a little way off and thought he wouldn't bother her by telling her it was soon her turn on guard duty and intead he resolved to stay up for her shift and see if the Dogs came back.

OOC: If we are doing the legendary thing, can mine be Moltres? And can I still catch it if I want? Because that would be really nice for my team...

Jared stretched out by the fire, having just caught the tail end of the conversation Rodney and Aari were having. Having just gotten his first badge back in Cerulean, he had been tired, but the chance to discuss some mythology was always appealing. It was one of the only things that his parents had pushed him to study that he had any kind of interest in.

"You know Rodney, if those were the Dogs you saw in the forest, I gotta say I'm surprised that they in this region," he said. "From what I read, Kanto's only got the Legendary Birds of Fire, Thunder and Ice. The dogs should be back over in Johto. So what would they be doing here?"

Aari awoke as the tiny drops of rain tapped against her face. She jumped a little bit and sat up. Aari looked at Jared and Rodney talking. She didn?t listen but smiled anyway.
She stood up now and looked at the boys. Trevor, Magnus and Rosgry were asleep although the raindrops hit of their face they awoke slowly. Aari walked around to her sleeping bag and placed her blanket inside. She grabbed some shorts and a jacket. Aari proceeded to walk behind a tree and get dressed. It was late but Aari wanted to do her watch.

?Okay, my watch now.? She laughed, yawning slightly.
?I?ll stay up too? Jared & Rodney both replied, eager to see the legendaries.
?Are you sure?? Aari said, putting her hand on her hips. Jeffery snorted in his sleep.
?Yup? Jared sprang jumping up.
?Alright, guess it?s us three up all night. It?s a date.? Aari laughed.

Jared felt the rain splashing down on his hat. "Shoot, looks pretty bad." He let Sparky out of its Pokeball. "At least if there is any lightning or anything, Sparky will soak it right up."
