Pokemon RP Slots closed Chapter 11: I'm on a boat!

Ooc: Suppose we give Jeffrey Mewtwo? because of the shared cynicism, just an idea you can pick from any though(again former restrictions apply) NeoAC yeah you can catch them but it deserves a fairly "epic" post.

Rodney decided to attemp to answer the un-answered question posed by Jared, "Well, I suppose they could just run over, Kanto and Johto are the only two connected countries(OOC: Fact check?). Still it's an interesting question."

Hours passed and no sight came, Rodney went to the river to collect some water. As he leant down, two massive lightining bolt passed by and Rodney saw a glimpse of the pokemon responsible running past on the lightning bolts. Rodney was shocked, all he could mutter was "Raikou" leaning in too far he fell into the river and got a slight residual shock.

He ran off to tell Aari and Jared what had happened, but he still had no proof! Suddenly as if on cue a massive roar cut through the night silence and many a lighting bolt was sent careening off in the night sky.

OOc: Yeah, Raikou. Was going to be Entei but the I remembered everytime he roars a volcano goes off.

OOC:I don`t think mewtwo counts as a legendary he was made by genetics not nature but he does seem like a good choice.

Rodney ran back to the others to tell them what he had just saw he was talking to Jared and
Aari about it when Jeffery started to mumble "shut up if you want your money go talk to the penguin" he muttered Aari,Jared and Rodney turned to face him.
"well Jeffery talks in his sleep that`s new" Rodney said poking him,Jeffery`s eyes shot open and in one quick motion he grabbed Rodney`s hand and bent it backwards.
"has it become your life`s mission to wake me up in increasingly annoying ways" Jeffery growled pushing Rodney`s hand back further.
"Ow please let go" Rodney said in between grunts of pain.
"fine but please don`t wake me up again" Jeffery said releasing his grip.
"well now that I`m up might as well stay up". Jeffery said getting out of his sleeping bag.

Ooc: I was just a bit confused terribleyetfun because your post had no match up to the earlier one, but whatever. Oh and yeah this thread seems to slow without Magnus and Adam Jenson has been out for a while. Last thing: Isn't Dialga a bit....much? I'm petty sure he is dormant, I know it seems like there isn't a lot of choices but there is still he likes of Latios or Latias.

Staying up was not a good idea for the group, the rotation was mixed up and they all fell back asleep at the same time, forgetting to wake up Trevor or Magnus.

In the earliest hours of coming dawn a lone figure crept silently in the camp, wearing a large black beanie, black jeans and a long sleeve black shirt. The man had a scar running down the side of his face.

He crept into the camp silently and found what he was looking for, he went over by the dying fire and picked up the two eggs and ran off, as he did so however he broke some twigs under foot which woke up Lucario but Lucario couldn't get up quickly enough to catch him.

Ooc: There we go, let's move people! oh and the whole Lucario thing is that he can send us his mental image.

OOCkay I fixed the post so it links up and I`l change my legendary to ho-oh for my fiery personality.

lucario came running over to Jeffery`s sleeping bag and started to shake him.
"wake up god damn it,wake up lucario tried to beam into Jeffery`s mind eventually waking him up.
"has everyone made it their life`s mission to wake me up at the most annoying of times" Jeffery said rubbing his eyes.
"two things you`re not funny when you say that and the eggs have been stolen"
"so why should I care" Jeffery said in between being shaken.
"well Aari will be super pissed that one of your Pokemon let the egg thief get away and do you really want to put up with her whining lucario said pulling Jeffery up onto his feet.
"good point,wait did`nt we only have one egg" Jeffery said confused.
"yes we only have one egg and we have togepi who looks like an egg" lucario said correcting him.
"well what did the guy look like tall,short,fat,skinny,hairy,bald a penguin" Jeffery said still half awake.
"he looked like this" lucario then communicated to Jeffery an image of a man wearing mostly black and a scar.
"okay I`l go take an early scout you wake the others up" Jeffery yelled over his shoulder running into the forest.
"no wait we need to.... aw crap he`s gone he always has to do that" lucario growled gritting his teeth.

Magnus woke up when he realized something was wrong. He saw that his backpack had been rummaged through and the egg had been stolen.

"************.." He mumbled tiredly. He looked and saw Jeffrey running into the night, with Lucario looking on helplessly as his Trainer ran off recklessly...yet again.
"What happened, Lucario?" Magnus asked the Pokemon.

"It's my fault." Lucario answered telepathically. "I fell asleep while on guard duty and a thief managed to sneak in here and steal both your egg, and Aari's Togepi. And now Jeffrey, in all his idiocy, has gone off to chase after him. Honestly, I'm sometimes embarrassed to admit that he's my Trainer."

"I'm disappointed, but it'll have to wait. I'm going to ride up and meet up with Jeffrey, maybe see if I can catch this guy before he gets too far." Magnus loaded up his bike and pushed a button that changed it to the off-road wheels. He pulled out his pokeballs and called out Quillz and Scout.
"Alright guys, as you've probably already realized Quillz, your egg has been stolen. I need you two to run after Jeffrey and if you can, catch the guy who stole the egg and Togepi. Unless you think that we should do something else, Lucario."

Aari ran Lucario?s story in her head almost a thousand times.
Aari remembered she left her other Pokémon at the Pokémon centre in Cerulean.
She went outside to the remaining gang. Jeffery was chasing after the thief.

?Well, I say we go too? Lucario said, probably to everybody.
?Yeah? Aari said, her voice breaking and a small tear ran down her face.

She grabbed her jacket and ran as fast as she could, leaving the others behind.
Aari?s tears were almost invisible against the warm rain. The others caught up.

?Don?t worry. We?ll get them? Jared said, running just behind Aari.
?Are you okay?? Magnus yelled, looking at Aari.

She didn?t answer; she simply looked back and turned away.
Aari kept running until she saw Jeffery outside a big grey building.
The gang ran to a wall and sat down. Aari fell upon the brick wall and slid down.
Her tears became visible and she wiped them away. She had to find Togepi?.

"oh hey guys nice of you to catch up I saw the thief run inside but given the fact that it`s a secluded building in the middle of nowhere I decided it would be best to wait for some backup" Jeffery said not taking his eyes off the two story structure, lucario walked up to him and slapped him over the back of the head.
"for the love of god do you really have to be that stupid to run off god think for once in you life" lucario telepathically yelled at Jeffery.
"oh sorry for me to assume that my friends could`nt run" Jeffery said in a sarcastic tone.
"wait,what I don`t think I`ve ever heard you use the word friend to describe anyone ever" lucario said in shock.
"well that`s beside the point the thing is we have to break into private property and possibly assault the owner" Jeffery said in obvious attempt to attract at least some disrespect.
"okay anyone got a plan" he said dropping down to sit on the wall with the others

Rodney thought about it, "So this guy likes stealing small pokemon...." it hit him suddenly.

Rodney called forth Faith and asked her "Can you sing?" The small clefairy nodded and opened it's mouth but Rodney clamped it shut. He told her "Ok Clefairy sing when you see this man" he looked at Lucario who showed Faith the man in question.

As Faith walked off rodney turned to the rest of the group and said "Ok at this range we should be safe, but I think we should track slowly behind and wait for Faith to start singing when we hear the singing we charge him and make as much noise as we can to scare him before he knows what's what.

Here's a little site that you can use if you need help with finding a particular pokemon, or want to know what attacks said pokemon can use, or learn, or w/e. I use this site frequently, and I think it does an excellent job.
Especially you TYF, you can use this to actually look up real attacks for Lucario...lol.

Oh, and as for the Legendary Pokemon, I want Latios.

The group waited for Faith to Sing and for their chance to charge the thief and get the Egg and Togepi back. Quillz stood silently at Magnus's side, her eyes shone in the moonlight. She had a new air about her, she was filled with a strong maternal instinct. When Magnus looked closely, he could see that her fur was slightly quivering, as if she was restraining herself until she could get to the man who stole her egg.

"Easy girl," Magnus told her. "You'll get him soon enough. Don't worry."

"Quil...lava..." Quillz responded. "Quil, Quilava" For his sake, I hope you're right. The longer I have to wait, the worse he will receive.

After a few minutes, the sound of Faith's Singing could be heard from their location.

"Go, go, go!" Rodney yelled. Everyone charged into the building and rushed towards the sound of the Song.

the group split up and darted around the building, Jeffery ran up the stairs lucario following him, looking around he saw what looked like a living room it had a rug, a T.V and a large wooden table also a closed door on the right side of the room, he looked around and checked the table it had some papers on it,Jeffery picked up the papers and started to read through them.
"huh I wonder what requisition form 22-A is" Jeffery said turning to lucario.
"do I look like I would know" lucario said staring at Jeffery with a are-you-kidding look.
"well it says here that it`s a form to get some..." Jeffery focused closer on the document "weapons namely guns and it`s been approved this is more than likely a copy,oh great that`s just fucking dandy this means that this guys armed better move quick then" Jeffery said getting off the couch then crouching down motioning for lucario to do the same they snuck to the other side of the room and slowly opened the door taking a peek inside he saw a kitchen and the egg thief standing over a hot plate on the counter with the two eggs to his left.
"okay we make our move in 3...2...NOW" Jeffery then charged through the door lucario behind him and he tackled the egg thief slamming his head against the countertop.
"so you sicko you like stealing eggs eh well how ,bout this" Jeffery then slammed the thief`s head into the counter again.
"ahhhhhhh fuck man stop it" the thief yelled blood dripping from his nose.
"sure I`l stop after this" Jeffery then slammed the thief`s head against the counter with great force knocking him out he then got down on his knee`s and examined the thief and found on his person a loaded pistol Jeffery switched on the safety and stuffed it in his pocket.
"okay don`t tell anyone that I have this" Jeffery said to lucario.
"got it" lucario responded
"uhhh now what" lucario asked again
"well we got the egg and togepi back who somehow managed to stay asleep through all this" Jeffery said turning to prod togepi who immediately sprung open and started to wail at being woken up.
"TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGEEEEEEEIIIIIII" togepi wailed causing Jeffery to back away holding his ears.
"ahhh god lucario you speak Pokemon calm it down" Jeffery said waving at lucario to get to toegpi,lucario shakily approached togepi and held it in his arms.
"uhhhh there,there rock a bye togepi in the tree top when the wind blows the cradle will rock when the bow breaks the cradle will fall and down will come togepi cradle and all" lucario shakily sung trying to calm togepi down.

eventually the rest of the group came running up wondering what the hell was going on they eventually saw Jeffery and lucario trying to calm togepi down.Aari came running up to lucario and took togepi off him rocking togepi in her arms singing softly eventually calming him down and putting togepi back to sleep.
"whew thanks Aari I`m not sure we could have ever calmed it down" Jeffery said scratching the back of his head.
"well what happened,why was togepi so upset" Aari said rocking togepi back and forth in her arms.
"uh yeah well when we took down the guy who stole the eggs we checked to see if togepi was alright and we accidentally woke him up" Jeffery said with a "I`m sorry" look on his face...

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

Unbeknownst to Jeffrey, Magnus had seen him slam the theif's head against the table and watched him put the gun in his pocket. He played it off as if he had seen nothing, he would approach Jeffrey about it later.

"Way to go Jeffrey," Magnus said sarcastically. "You just addled the guy, now how are we supposed to find out why he did it? Or if he's part of something bigger? Learn to think about things Jeffrey. I mean for fuck's sake!"

"Magnus is right Jeff," Rodney agreed. "You're behavior seems to keep getting more and more dangerous as you try to go above and be the hero. It's going to get you in trouble."

"Whatever guys," Jeffrey shrugged it off, in his typical cocky attitude. "It's not like it matters, I got Togepi and the Egg back and kicked the shit out of the thief. I say that it's a win."

"Yes, but a win at what cost?" Lucario chimed in. "If you keep this up, you may end up getting killed, and none of us want that to happen, no matter how annoying you are at times."

Magnus walked over to the unconscious thief and looked over his body. Other than the scar on his face he was completely unremarkable. When Magnus saw his open jacket, he saw the empty holster of the gun, which reaffirmed what he saw Jeffrey had done. What Magnus did not find was any connection to Team Rocket, nor anything that would cause you to believe anything about the guy.

"Let's go," Magnus said. "He's not connected to the Rockets. If he is he was just a hired thug and will not bother us in the future. Now let's go guys..."

The group left the building, with all of their precious belongings returned and set up camp about ten miles from the mouth of Rock Tunnel.

With most of the group asleep, Magnus approached Jeffrey and spoke to him alone.

"So Jeffrey, what made you decide to take the gun?" Magnus asked Jeffrey, as if it were nothing.

"What...What gun? How did you know?" Jeffrey scrambled for his speech. "How did you find out?"

"I saw you take it... not to mention I overheard you and Lucario talking about it. Come on, take it out and let me see it."

"uhhhh fine here it is" Jeffery took the gun out of his pocket and showed it to him.
"god damn it Jeffery why would you take it" magnus said with his hand pressed over his forehead.
"okay magnus If you have`nt realized by now we are fighting a war here against people who are willing to kill we have to be willing to do the same" Jeffery said with a crazy look on his face.
"no Jeffery we don`t that would make us just like them and that`s not what we want" magnus said casually.
"well why not, why not fight fire with fire" Jeffery said pacing back and forth.
"because it would only result in even worse things to happen I mean what if you died what would your family think" magnus said almost pleading with Jeffery.
Jeffery walked straight up to magnus and grabbed him by the collar.
"don`t you EVER talk about my family EVER" Jeffery said a rage in his eyes before walking off into the woods.
"Jeffery where the hell are you going" magnus said following after him.
"I`m gonna go clear my head and I will not be held responsible for my actions if you follow" Jeffery said not taking his eyes off the path ahead of him, magnus stopped in his tracks and looked on as Jeffery eventually disappeared out of sight

Aari sat around the camp. It was about 5:35am. Her blonde hair sparkled and the sun was about to rise. Aari turned around as she seen Jeffery leave Magnus and head to the woods. She lifted Togepi up and walked to Magnus.

?What?s up?? she asked, tickling Togepi.

?Nothing? Could you...? Magnus whispered.

Aari Sighed lightly before saying

?I?ll go see if Jeffery is okay?

Magnus nodded and knelt down to Quillz. Her rubbed her fur and told Aari that if she couldn?t find him to just come back. She wandered into the big forest and looked all around. Sighing, Aari started to run. Togepi, in her hands, started to chuckle a little bit.
Aari stopped after running for about 10 minutes. She breathed in and turned her head.

?I finally found you? Aari breathed

?Well? You found me. But I wasn?t playing hide and go seek? Jeffery hissed back.

?Hey, I didn?t do anything. At least have some manors.? Aari yelled back.

?Whatever? Jeffery said, turning his head and spitting on the forest floor.

Aari got up and walked towards Jeffery. He leaned upon a tree.
She put Togepi down and sunk her hands into his shoulders as hard as she could.
She told him to lose his attitude or he will get everyone killed.
Aari let go and picked up Togepi, she took one last look at Jeffery.
He looked at her. Turning her head, Aari continued back to the others.

when Aari was completely out of sight Jeffery continued to sit there consumed in his hatred.
"bastards what the fuck right do they have to tell me to calm down we`re fighting a motherfucking war here there`s no time for this kind of pansy restraint bullshit" Jeffery said his voice getting louder with each word,but unknowns to Jeffery was a rustling in the bush and a feral mightyena lept out and snarled at Jeffery ready to attack.
"well,would you look at that my life`s about to end GOOD FUCKING NIGHT EVERYBODY" Jeffery shouted still slumped against the tree waiting for the mightyena to kill him, the mightyena lept at Jeffery tearing at his arm ripping only a minimal amount of flesh torn from his skin.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH FUCK" Jeffery yelled getting to his feet and pulling out the gun he stole from the egg thief.
"fuck off you fucking mutt before I blow your brains out" Jeffery said aiming the gun directly at the mightyena,who was obviously not listening lept at Jeffery who had fired hitting the mightyena right in the head killing it.
"ha ************ should have listened" Jeffery said nursing his new wound.
"fucking hell left my stuff back at the camp well if any of them try to stop me I`m the one with the gun and two bullets" Jeffery chuckled shuffling back to camp.

Rodney had heard the gunshot while packing up the camp and ran to it's source with Chompers right behind him.

All he saw the massive corpse of the Mightyena and a bit of the gun, he ordered Chompers to charge at whoever it was and knock the gun out of their hand with a water gun.

As Rodney made his way around the poor beast he saw Jeffrey clamped softly between Chompers jaws. Rodney stumbled about his words but said "Jeffrey....why?" he then motioned to Chompers to let him go. Jeffrey instinctively went to collect the gun again but Chompers had already blocked the way, he then turned to Rodney and said "Because you all have to harden the fuck up! You should know you killed a man and nearly another, you should knowbe that the world has gone to shit. Kill or killed."

Rodney saw a slight glimmer of truth in what he was saying he simply said "Jeffrey, I did it because I had something to fight for, your life. I agree for all we know this could escalate into a war but we will let the people who have been trained with that to handle it, if they need our help so be it." Rodney took of the backpack that held all his food and pokemon and sent Chompers back to camp.

Rodney retrieved Jeffrey's gun and handed to him saying, "Kill or be killed, isn't that what you said?" Rodney knew this was a risk, a trigger had obivously gone off in Jeffrey but this wall he could do. He spread his arms and simply gave Jeffrey a vague,lifeles look. As he awaited the bullet...

Jeffery aimed the gun straight at Rodney his hands shaking he was fighting a battle inside himself with one voice saying "kill him he`s asking for it do it NOW" while another voice was saying "don`t do it this will destroy you" he stood there gun still aimed at Rodney he closed his and Rodney did the same as Jeffery pulled the trigger..... he missed.

Jeffery fell to the ground he was pushed past his breaking point and started crying, Rodney opened his eyes surprised to be alive, spotting Jeffery who was on the ground whimpering he ignored Jeffery for just a minute and went over to the gun and took out the clip.
"I`m sorry Rodney I`m sorry I should never have killed that mightyena" Jeffery said getting to his knee`s begging having been reduced to a quivering shell of what he once was.
"it alright Jeff I forgive you" Rodney said helping Jeffery to his feet they started to walk back to camp.
"you know what the first thing that came to mind when I shot that mightyena" Jeffery said turning to face Rodney.
"no what was it" Rodney asked reluctantly.
"this was kinda fun" Jeffery answered daring not to look at Rodney.
