Pokemon RP Slots closed Chapter 11: I'm on a boat!

Magnus and Rodney arrived at the Gym of Fuschia City. Rodney was about to walk forward when Magnus stopped him, feeling for a wall.

"There's hidden walls, you have to be careful not to bump into one." Magnus warned Rodney. "If I remember correctly, it's thi-"

Magnus bumped into a wall, and muttered a swear under his breath.

"Nope, not this way." Magnus and Rodney made their way through the maze of hidden doors and eventually reached Janine.

"Hello again Magnus, it seems you've brought a friend. Welcome to my Gym. Seeing as there is only one real reason you are here, I accept your challenge to battle."

"Thank you... You're pretty straightforward." Rodney commented. "Let's battle, now!"

Rodney and Janine stood opposite from one another and grabbed their Pokeballs.

"Prepare yourself boy... You're about to face the ferocity of a Ninja!"

Rodney stared down Janine as they called out their Pokemon.

"Crobat, go!" Janine called out her Crobat.

"Sparks, come on out!" Rodney called out his Ampharos, who clutched the bauble on its tail and then faced the Crobat.

"Alright guys." Magnus said. "Begin!"

"Sparks, use Thunderpunch!" Sparks's fists crackled with electrical energy as he lunged at the Crobat, whose wing was grazed by the punch.

"Crobat, use Poison Fang!" The Crobat weaved in the air and descended upon Sparks, biting him on the arm, and poisoning him. Crobat's body shuddered with small sparks and it struggled to move; Sparks' ability Static stunned the Bat Pokemon.

"Now Sparks, use Discharge!" Sparks unleashed a field of electricity and focused it on Crobat, knocking the Pokemon out. The poison was taking its toll on Sparks, who was breathing laboredly.

"Crobat return," Janine called back her Crobat and grabbed another pokeball from her belt. "Go Ariados!"

The Spider-Pokemon jumped onto the ceiling and clung with its legs.

"Sparks, return! You've done enough." Rodney called back his Ampharos and pulled out a second Pokeball, this one with a penciling of a flame on it. "Go, Blaze!"

Blaze beamed out of his Pokeball and roared, the flame on his tail glowing intensely.

"Ariados, use Fury Swipes!" Ariados descended from the ceiling on a piece of webbing and began to slash at the Charmeleon.

"Blaze, use Fire Fang!" Blaze's fangs glowed with fire as he latched on to one of Ariados's legs. The Bug-Type Pokemon cried out in pain.

"Ariados, use Spider Web!" Ariados stood still, flinching from the previous attack.

"Once more, use Fire Fang!" Blaze bit Ariados once more, causing more damage.

"Use Night Shade!" Ariados unleashed a shadow that struck Blaze, doing Ghost-Type damage equal to Ariados's own level. "Now, use Sucker Punch!"

Ariados jumped ahead of Blaze's own attack and struck the Charmeleon, knocking him out.

"Blaze, return!" Rodney contemplated which Pokemon to use next, seeing how close to fainting Ariados was. "Go, Slicer!"

The Scyther beamed out of his Safari Ball and smiled at the prospect of a battle.

"Scyther!" Finally!

"Slicer, use Wing Attack!" The Scyther took to the air and struck Ariados with his wings, knocking the Spider-Pokemon out.

"Ariados, return!" Janine grabbed her third Pokeball. "Go Venomoth, finish this!"

"Slicer, use Wing Attack on the Venomoth!" Slicer gladly charged at the Moth-Pokemon, striking its thorax with his wings.

"Venomoth, use Poison Fang!" Venomoth prepared to bite Slicer, its jaws glowing purple.

"Slicer, counter with Agility!" As the Venomoth swooped in to attack, but the Scyther's speed confused it and it overshot.

"Slicer, use Slash and clip its wing!" Slicer swooped down and slashed his arm-blades on one of the Venomoth's wings, hampering its ability to fly. As it fluttered about in a sloppy circle, Slicer prepared for another attack.

"Use Wing Attack, once more!" Slicer swiped the injured Venomoth with his wings, knocking it unconscious and uttering a hissing roar in victory.

"Scy Scytherrr!" Yah, ************!

"Congratulations, you've beaten me Rodney. I present you with the Soul Badge." She handed the heart-shaped badge to Rodney, who thanked her and then asked:

"Wait, how did you know my name? I never told you."

"I'm a ninja." She responded. "What, you don't think I wasn't watching you while you went through the wall maze?"

She giggled and stopped.

"I will be here should you ever need any help. Here, give this to Joel... it's my new Cell Phone number. Farewell, boys."

The two left the Gym and headed to the Pokemon Center, despite it only being 9:30am.

jeffery and lucario continued to make their way to the gym but were still wandering around for about ten minutes.

"okay you are now not allowed to lead us anywhere any more" lucario said annoyed.

"okay I`l be the first to admit that I don`t have a very good sense of direction and that the shortcut I advised was`nt all that short but c`mon we can`t be that far off" jeffery replied stepping over a bush.

"yeah right I think we`ve passed that bush about five times now" lucario said pointing at the bush jeffery just jumped over, they continued to walk down the path getting nowhere until they saw a small campsite in the distance.

"hey maybe those guys can help us" jeffery said excitedly running to the campsite he did`nt get far until lucario grabbed him by the shoulder.

"have`nt you learned anything from thr last time you talked to a stranger in the forest" lucario said trying to reason with him.

"oh c`mon don`t be so negative" jeffery said shaking lucario's hand off and running to the campsite in the distance.

"uh...fine" lucario rolled his eyes as he followed jeffery.

Wow... Jeffrey and Lucario are pretty much out of Fuschia City right now. That shortcut took them right out of the city. It's even funnier considering the Gym is not even 5 minutes from the Pokemon Center. This is why we don't let Jeffrey have the map.

Magnus and Rodney parted ways once they reached the Pokemon Center; Rodney went to heal his Pokemon, and Magnus went down to the beach. He walked along the pier, watching as people fished off of the docks and off of boats. He saw a large cork-board, filled with notices and ads. He saw a sign beside it, outlining the ferry schedule. He skimmed along and saw that the boats travelled to the Seafoam Islands tomorrow at 3pm, and then two days later at the same time.

"Looks like that's our next stop." Magnus said to himself. "If I remember correctly, Blaine moved his Gym there permanently to make room on Cinnabar while they're rebuilding."

"That's right. He has, m'boy." A middle-aged fisherman answered Magnus's question to himself. "He's settled down in them islands; the weather there is much more comfortable than Cinnabar. Damn it... another got away. You want to try, kid?"

"What? Me?" Magnus was slightly surprised. "Sure, I guess so."

Magnus grabbed the fishing rod and casted it out, waiting for a bite. He felt a small nudge on it and then a jolt. He set the hook and started pulling in the Pokemon. It was just a Magikarp, but it was a deep yellow. The Magikarp flopped about weakly and tried to get back in the water.

"Nice catch, boy. What're you going to do with it?" The fisherman asked.

"Let her go... let her breed." Magnus answered, contemplatively. "She's too special for someone to keep for themself. Let her spread her genes, maybe result in more Magikarp of that color."

"You sure a sentimental person for such a young'un. Alright, I'll take the rod back." Magnus handed the rod back to the fisherman. "Thanks for the good luck, kiddo. And good luck to you as well."

"Thanks. Have a good day, sir." Magnus sat back down and looked out at the ocean. Vaguely, he could make out the silhouette of a dragonlike Pokemon on the ocean, skimming the surface of the water with another one similar to itself.

jeffery slowly jogged to the campsite lucario following behind him as he got closer he was able to get a clearer view of the campsite it was made up of one tent and a fire with some logs around the fire for seating. he made his way to the center of the campsite and looked around for signs of life.

"Hey anyone here" jeffery said to no-one in particular. he started to wander around before he heard a sound of several logs being dropped and before he could react he felt a knife against his throat and a hand grabbing his arm and placing it behind his back.

"mind telling me what the fuck your doing snooping around my campsite" the stranger asked.

"nothing, I`m just lost and I`m looking for directions" jeffery nervously replied.

"yeah right your probably one of those rocket scumbags sent here to bring me back and I can tell you right now that,that aint happening" the stranger said pressing the knife closer against Jeffery's throat his voice slowly getting more insane.

"I`m not a rocket,you ever heard of something called the cerulean beach brawl I was one of the trainers there" jeffery replied trying to use his free hand to escape but was quickly stopped by a swift punch to the kidney.

"yeah right" the stranger spun jeffery around and got a good look at his face . "damn you really were there, well I still don`t trust you but your not a rocket so that`s good enough" the stranger replied pushing jeffery away sending him to the ground.

"cool at least you don`t want to kill me" jeffery said getting off the ground. he started to say more but was interrupted by lucario jumping through the bushes and tackling the man to the ground jeffery grabbed lucario and pulled him off "sorry about that my pokemon is kinda insane"

"he was trying to kill you...and that`s my job" lucario replied calming down but still trying to escape Jeffery's grip.

"don`t worry we`ve worked past that,he does`nt think I`m a rocket anymore" jeffery replied letting lucario go.

"ha you a rocket you aint got the stones for that" lucario laughed.

"hey the rockets will take anyone you just need a pulse" the stranger said.

"so who are you anyways" jeffery asked turning to face the stranger.

"call me Jacob" the stranger said turning around and to pick up his firewood that he dropped.

And the sky did darken, black clouds gathered and then...A mighty roar of thunder in it's wake leaving a figure, too far away to properly distinguish. This...thing rose up, raised it arms and cupped it hands around it's mouth to shout out-

"I'M BAAAAAAAAAACK"

I'm allowing for time skip, judging by the last couple there's some stuff unsolved so feel free just remember to differentiate between then and now.

It was a good day, Rodney had got his badge. He waited for all to return to the pokemon center before making his announcement "We're taking the first ship tomorrow at 7 am so get to sleep now or I'll wake you up with a cold water gun from Chompers!" Jeffrey sighed, saying "Asshole..." Rodney smirked and help out Chompers' pokeball.

Everyone ran off to sleep Rodney again smiled to himself and said to no one in particular "$5 says no one has actually gone to sleep".

I'm going to get my battle up now....finally.

As night started to slowly fall on Fuchsia City and the sunset started to slowly flicker across the waters, Jared finally made his way back to the Fuchsia City Gym. Janine was sitting outside on the steps, staring at the sunset.

"Weren't you busy cleaning before?" Jared asked the gym leader.

"Meh, all taken care of. Besides, you were the one who took off, remember?" Janine shot back, getting up.

"I was getting bored waiting for you to finish up. That room looked like a swamp!"

"Whatever, you're here now, so let's get this over with!"

"All right fine! How are we going to do this Janine?"

"Sun's almost down, so we'll just make this a quick double, how about that?"

"Works for me I gotta be back to sleep for the ship anyways. Plus quick is right you're going down."

"We'll see about that! Go Muk, go Seviper!" Janine tossed out two Pokeballs releasing a the lengthy snake Pokemon and a mass of sludge.

"Got dang it! What is it with you gym leaders and smelly Pokemon? Whatever, all the more reason to end this quick. Nicky, Sparky, make it happen!" Out came Nidoking and Magneton.

"Niiiiiiii, nido, nido!" Even though this smell is unbearable, I will do my master proud and win this battle for him.

"MAGNETONNNNNN!"WE DON'T NOTICE ANYTHING!

"OK fine then, Seviper, Glare at Nidoking, and Muk, use Minimize." Seviper attempted to stare down Nicky but Nicky looked it down, avoiding the paralysis, while Muk seemed to condense slightly.

"Sparky! Tri Attack on Muk!" Jared commanded.

"MAG. NE. TON!"TRI ATTACK GO!" The three beams shot out merging together as they managed to strike Muk. It struggled against it, but soon it could not move. The ice beam had become the dominant one as Muk was frozen to the spot.

"What! Are you kidding me?" Janine asked no one in particular.

"Well that makes things easier," Jared commented. "Time to end this. Nicky, Earthquake!"

"Niiiiiidoooo! Niiiiii!" Prepare to taste defeat at my hands. This is it for you!"

The earth shook and rattled as the outside arena got torn asunder by Nicky's attack. Seviper was no match, crumpling in a head at the waves crashed through it. And Muk. Muk just sat there, frozen, its eyes now spirals. A poof suddenly materialized on the side of the arena as a man clad in black appeared.

"Janine's Pokemon are unable to battle! Jared is the winner!" he proclaimed.

"Told ya!" Jared said, slightly smug.

"Fine fine, you were right. I didn't think your Nidoking would be that powerful. Here take the Soul Badge," Janine tossed the pin over to Jared, who tucked it into his case.

"Awesome, but hey before you go in, what about-"

"My associates will be able to tell me once you get back to Saffron," Janine said cutting Jared off. "Once you return, I should have enough tools for you and your friends to be able to get around Sabrina's guard. Until then, Jared." Janine vanished behind another puff of smoke, but the wind had picked up and Jared could see her barely getting through the open window.

"Ummmm, OK," he said shrugging as he returned Nicky and Sparky and headed back to the Pokemon Center for a rest.

"so Jacob...if that is your real name,what the fuck are you doing out here in the forest" jeffery asked looking back and forth.

"well seeing as how I can can kill you in an instant might as well tell ya I`m a deserter from team rocket" Jacob replied walking over to one of the tree trunks surrounding the fire and taking a seat with his back to jeffery.

"wait,you were a rocket,what was that like" jeffery asked before jumping onto the other log across from Jacob.

"what the fuck do you think it was like,it was hell,having to do what you were told to do,having to kill what you were told to kill,having to destroy what you were told to destroy, they trick you with some false hope of freedom but nah only the elite squads get that and even they have to report in to mister Giovanni every fucking month" Jacob replied staring at the fire he was beginning to start.

"wait...elite squads, what the hell are those" jeffery asked.

"god you ask a lot of questions don`t you" Jacob replied a annoyed look starting to spread across his face. "if you must know the elite squads are the specially trained rockets usually used for infiltration and sabotage and they`re good at it too they can be anywhere at any time-"

"wait so you mean that these elite spys could be disguised as anyone" jeffery asked shocked.

"well,yes actually but don`t get paranoid that`s exactly what they want but still remain suspicious of everyone you meet after the rocket invasion started" Jacob warned stoking the fire.

"will do,so why`d you ditch anyway" jeffery asked as he turned his head and looked at jacob curiously.

"if you must know I left because I just could`nt handle the killing, I was one of the rockets that survived the attack on celadon I saw things,did things that no man should have to do" Jacob replied not taking his eyes off the fire as the night sky started to settle.

"I know I was there as well saw a friend nearly die,it was hell" jeffery said back as he turned his attention to the fire himself he then looked up at the sky and saw that the sun was about to set. "I`m sorry I gotta go" jeffery said getting up and tapping lucario on the shoulder and telling him to get up and follow him.

"finally i was wondering when we would leave" lucario said getting up and beginning to walk back to the poke center.

"see-ya later kid,have fun fighting rockets and remember and I`m being serious about this be suspicious of everyone" Jacob yelled out as jeffery and lucario walked back to the pokemon center the sun setting behind them.

jeffery got back to the pokemon center as the sun was setting he saw Rodney telling the rest of the group that they were taking the first boat in the morning and that they`d better wake up early or he would get chompers to blast them with a cold water gun jeffery simply let out a heavy sigh and muttered the word asshole just loud enough for him to hear he then walked into his room and sat on his bed thinking. "anyone could be a spy,better fucking watch out" jeffery muttered to himself as he lay on his bed staring at the ceiling.

I know I?ve been devoted to this & Aari has played a part in this but I feel this RP is slowly dying & I hope it isn?t. Therefore, due to my computer acting up (AGAIN) & the lack of energy within posts; I?m leaving. I?m truly sorry for this but, like Dast, I?m finding this to be a chore. Magnus woke up at 5:30am and packed up his things. He went into the shopping district and bought all the things they would need on their trip. He packed everything up and returned to the Pokemon Center, waiting for the rest of the group to wake up.

Magnus and the rest of the group boarded the ferry that would take them to the Seafom Islands, a pair of islands South of Fuschia, and East of Cinnabar. On one of the islands was where the Gym Leader Blaine set up the new location of his Gym, leaving Cinnabar Island for the more favorable climate. The other island was a large beach hotel resort. People could stay here for a decent price, enjoying the spa, beach, drinks, and all the other amenities.

The ferry pulled away from the docks south of Fuschia City and began the 4-hour boat-trip to the islands.

Rodney looked about the group and said "OH SHIT! How are we going to pay for the hotel? We've blown almost all our money" Lucario communicated "We could get money from people and in return they can punch Jeffrey" They all laughed and Magnus said "We're all trainers right?" Rodney said slightly confused "Yeah?" Magnus continued "And what do trainers do best?". Rodney caught on now "Battle! of course".

Magnus looked out from the deck of the ferry, singing to himself contently.

~"...I'm on a boat, ************, don't you ever forget. Fuck land, I'm on a boat, ************! Fuck trees, I climb bouies, ************! I'm on the-"~ Magnus stopped singing when Aari approached him, looking like she wanted to say something.

"Hey Magnus..." Aari began. "I was wondering exactly how we're going to pay for this stay here at this resort. I mean, where exactly does all this money come from that we seem to be able to stay in these places? Is there something you're not telling me?"

"Wow... That's quite a question to ask right out of the blue." Magnus responded, slightly shocked. "Well, to be honest, there is something that I have been keeping from you and the others. I didn't think it would matter, but if you're so interested, then I guess I'll tell you. But don't tell the others, that's my job."

Magnus pulled out his Debit Card and showed it to her.

"This card is linked to a bank account that has both mine and my stepfather's names on it. Every month, my stepfather transfers five-thousand dollars to this account, for me to do what I will with it. There, does it make you feel better knowing?"

"Yes..." Aari responded with a puzzled look. "But it raises so many more questions. Like, where does your stepdad get the-"

Uhh... This is your captain speaking. We will be arriving at the Western Seafoam Island in just a few minutes. The western island houses the village, as well as Blaine's Fire-Type Gym. There will be buses to take you to the Eastern Island if you choose to head there. Thank you for choosing KantOcean Ferries, we hope you enjoyed the ride.

"Come on, we'll be docking soon." Magnus said. "Let's get a move-on." The two of watched as the islands grew bigger as they approached and watched anxiously as the boat docked.

jeffery and lucario were on the opposite side of the boat looking at the mainland getting smaller and smaller. "man Rodney`s right we are nearly out of money" jeffery sighed staring at the ocean.

"you know we could always use...the stash" lucario communicated to jeffery instead of simply telling it to him.

jeffery looked back at lucario stunned "No fucking way,anyone sees that I am dead you know hes got spies everywhere" jeffery half-whispered half shouted to lucario.

"well then how else do you explain we get a room and not sleep on the street,I know your used to it being a dock rat with no family and all but I don`t think the rest of the group would take it that well" communicated back.

"don`t say another fucking word about my family, you little *****" jeffery said annoyed.

"oh god not this again how long you wanna ***** about it this time I`l get a timer to see if you beat your record"[/i] lucario responded.

"oh that is it" jeffery snapped and punched lucario in the face knocking him to the ground, lucario got back up and responded by hitting jeffery in the face,jeffery then push kicked lucario to the ground and dived on top of him and started laying into him with punches but eventually lucario grabbed both his hands head butted him and forced him off they both got back up their fists raised as they continued to fight...

Brandon sighed as Jeffry and Lucario started fighting. "Why do they always do that?" Brandon asked Lilly as he let her out of her pokeball. She just shrugged her shoulders. He sighed again "Lift them in the air with psychic." Both of them stared at him and Lilly in surprise. "Now tell me why were guys fighting in the first place." Brandon said pulling up a chair

"that`s private so just put us down and we can continue beating the crap outta each other" jeffery replied to Brandon as he tried to fight against Lilly's psychic to get close enough to lucario to choke him but was pushed back before he could get a good grip on lucario's throat. "no really put us down before I open up a can whoop-ass on you" jeffery threatened Brandon as he continued to try and choke lucario while still being held in the air with psychic.

Brandon sighed again knowing this wasn't going to stop. "Fine but if ether of you gets worse than a broken arm your gong back up. Lilly?" Lilly nodded and dropped both of them none to lightly.

jeffery and lucario landed on the ground with a thump before the both of them immediately got up and started choking each other.

"what is wrong with you two" Brandon asked as he looked at jeffery and lucario choking each other.

"dunno maybe we`re just both pricks that good enough of an explanation for ya" lucario communicated to Brandon as he and jeffery continued choking each other.
