There is a difference between being human and f****ing yourself up on drugs, a distinction you don't seem to grasp. If I take MDMA it won't kill me, but I'm much more likely to do something while under the influence of it, just the same as with any other drug, no matter who you are. However, if you are a rational person you are likely not to go on a GTA rampage after playing San Andreas, or slice 'n' dice your gf if you find her cheating.
Seriously, drugs & emotion are different. A rational person can control the latter, but the point of the former is to change how you perceive the world around you. That is unquestionably dangerous.
Wow, your right changing your view of the world is very dangerous. But isn't that the point of video games, art and movies? To give you a new view of the world. Whatever, I guess the world won't be okay unless its run by your guidelines, no matter how full of b/s they are.
Please, stop trolling.
A movie may make you think "damn that was interesting" but if you are A RATIONAL PERSON you are not going to commit a crime due to what you have just watched/read/heard. If you are taking drugs, it doesn't matter how sane you are as you are no longer in control of your actions/you are unaware of what you are doing. How you react to the world changes entirely and so you have a much higher chance of doing something illegal.
There is no movie in the world which after viewing it, has caused normal people to go out and try to fly off a building or drive into a random stranger.
Can you say the same about recreational drugs? No.
Well, can you please stop accusing me of trolling?
And are you living under a rock? Because movies and music have had a huge impact on our society. I mean cmon just look at the sixties. With movies like Easy Rider and the sounds of Hendrix inspired an entire generation to rise up against their elder and forge their own destiny. So please try not to make yourself look too ignorant.

Find me an instance where someone has read a book, and that book has made them more dangerous behind the wheel of a car.
Or a song which after being listened to constantly, someone died of an overdose.
How about a movie after watching someone has started a fight because he was hearing voices in his head.
There is a different in changing someone's views on life through free speech & causing some to lose self-control and inhibitions through chemicals.
If you seriously don't understand that you are not living in reality/just trolling.
Well, can you please stop being such a dick, and accusing me of trolling. And also you complete skipped over my argument. (guess thats what trolls do) You claimed that movies, songs and books can't change peoples view of the world. And frankly thats a load of b/s. So please adress the issue instead of showing off your ignorance.
EDIT: Also accusing others of trolling make you look like a troll. FYI.

What are you on about?? No I didn't.
I'm saying that changing a persons view of life and attitude (which is what some books/films/music does) will not have the same negative consequences as drugs e.g. driving a car into someone.
Again:
"Find me an instance where someone has read a book, and that book has made them more dangerous behind the wheel of a car.
Or a song which after being listened to constantly, someone died of an overdose.

Music/art/books have never had caused a rational person to commit a crime. Drugs have & do. As I have just repeated myself you are trolling or have an inability to read & comprehend basic arguments.
If the best argument that you can come up with is you are a troll. Then I see that you are not worth the time and effort to have a debate with. I bid you good day sir.

I am on board with this. I agree that Marijuana should be legalized, but with restrictions. Like, you need to be 21 (or certain age limit) to smoke it, it needs to be taxed, sold, and grown by the government, and the likes. Marijuana is less addictive, has much much much less tar and cancer causing additives to it than cigarettes. And honestly guys, who would you rather meet on the road, driving a car, a raving drunk? Or a relaxed pot smoker? (I'm not saying that you should do either behind the wheel btw, it's a stupid move to be under any influence while driving)

Another tasty little gem: Salvia is a legal hallucinogenic plant. Completely legal! This makes you hallucinate! If Salvia is legal then why isn't Marijuana?

Anyways this is always an interesting topic to look up. Apparently there was a bill being passed about legalizing it in California, but I'm still unsure about that.
