Well, can you please stop accusing me of trolling?Mazty said:Please, stop trolling.bue519 said:Wow, your right changing your view of the world is very dangerous. But isn't that the point of video games, art and movies? To give you a new view of the world. Whatever, I guess the world won't be okay unless its run by your guidelines, no matter how full of b/s they are.Mazty said:There is a difference between being human and f****ing yourself up on drugs, a distinction you don't seem to grasp. If I take MDMA it won't kill me, but I'm much more likely to do something while under the influence of it, just the same as with any other drug, no matter who you are. However, if you are a rational person you are likely not to go on a GTA rampage after playing San Andreas, or slice 'n' dice your gf if you find her cheating.
Seriously, drugs & emotion are different. A rational person can control the latter, but the point of the former is to change how you perceive the world around you. That is unquestionably dangerous.
A movie may make you think "damn that was interesting" but if you are A RATIONAL PERSON you are not going to commit a crime due to what you have just watched/read/heard. If you are taking drugs, it doesn't matter how sane you are as you are no longer in control of your actions/you are unaware of what you are doing. How you react to the world changes entirely and so you have a much higher chance of doing something illegal.
There is no movie in the world which after viewing it, has caused normal people to go out and try to fly off a building or drive into a random stranger.
Can you say the same about recreational drugs? No.
And are you living under a rock? Because movies and music have had a huge impact on our society. I mean cmon just look at the sixties. With movies like Easy Rider and the sounds of Hendrix inspired an entire generation to rise up against their elder and forge their own destiny. So please try not to make yourself look too ignorant.
