But no, there's nothing real about 2012 disasters. Pure nonsense. History will prove me right. Except to all those who'll see any disaster, no matter how small, as a sign of The Prophecy Coming True (dun dun dun!).

The Mayans clearly say that they don't think the world'll end in 2012. One of their leaders wrote that he expected his jubilee to be celebrated somewhere around the year 3400 if I remember it correctly.

The film did scare me a bit though! Not the end of the world at 2012, but like, the real life tsunami predictions, which made me decide i need to be either a. very important, or b. very rich so i can be saved from any global disaster And nuclear fallout

I know very well the world isn't going to end, but I do so love to rile up people about this. I love it so much in fact that I'll be sure to be sitting in a chair in Time Square on December 20th, 2012 with a nice bottle of Don Perrignon waiting for the countdown. I will sit there all day day until December 22nd, 2012. where I shall get up out of my chair and laugh at all the simpletons.

If the world does indeed end, at least I'll die with a nice bottle of champagne.

The scientist that told everyone about the 2012 Maya calender translation. Have said that there was a misscalculation. It is in about 200 years or something like that. Not that it is going to happen.

So Does this mean that it will happen... just not in 2012 but in 4012?
because then I would still be right that the Mayans did predict the end of the world AND the there would be a big party in 3400!
