To be honest, even though some of the raids were well-deserved, my problem with the current raids is that:
1., Not enough of them
2., TOO cause-oriented
My beef with all the post- /b/day nf's is that they all think that /b/ is some sort of stupid -ass cause for them all to rally behind. Hence why I hate real-life stunts like the Chanology raids on scientology.
They'd be all great, if they weren't being perpetuated by a bunch of hipster wannabes wearing guy fawkes masks thinking they'll all grab a piece of e-fame.

The popular opinion seems to be that basically, 4Chan is the F.A.T.A.L. of Internet forums. However, while I personally don't know enough about 4Chan to make a strong statement on the matter, I do know Encyclopedia Dramatica, and even though it's affiliated with 4Chan, it's still a refuge for deranged, twisted, Goatse-spamming griefers.
As for Ebaumsworld and Entarbulation, I don't actually know much about those sites. Can anyone give a one-sentence description of them for me?

I visited 4chan fairly regularly for a good few months, long enough to wrap my head around the majority of the memes and in jokes anyway and i personally think it's a bit shit, very occasionally someone posts something funny but it's generally pretty slim pickings. What really pisses me off however is all the morons who use chan talk and memes outside chan boards at least the origional 4chaners had the maturity to leave that shit on their own boards. I agree with Akai Shizuku about the youtubers, a 4chaner will enjoy an internet based prank but youtubers are venomous bastards!
The worst thing on the internet is by far the complete stupidity you find on Youtube comments.
4Chan, ED, cwcki, etc are there because they can be. There are many idiots on the internet and with Anonymity these idiots can be trolled easily and successfully. There is no such thing as internet bullying. Strangers leaving random comments is what the internet has become. Getting offended about text does not solve any problems and makes someone out to be a weak individual. ED just documents the 'lulz'.
