have you even visited the site? I would love to get a link where it says that nu metal aint metal.

Search for any Nu-Metal band and you won't find anything, and look in the forums and they'll tell you it's not metal.

it took me 2 seconds to find 6 examples of nu metal bands on the site:
1. Bethrayer Thrash Metal (early), Nu-metal (later)
2. Epitome of Frail Nu-Metal (early), Death Metal/Hardcore (later)
3. Extrema Thrash Metal (early), Nu Metal (later)
4. Mechanix (Pol) Thrash Metal (early), Nu Metal (later)
5. Pin Drop Violence Groove/Metalcore/Nu Metal
6. Synthetic Breed Groove Death Metal/Nu Metal

look at the official policy of the site, they put bands up if one of their full lenght albums is considered metal. If korn now makes an albums that's metal, they and their complete discography will also be on the site (which is all spelled out to you with the part they write before nu metal)

i must admit that i didnt find those bands listed as nu metal, disturbed was listed as trash metal, slipknot was listed as a crossover, and iwont continue this quarrel, i dont realy care, but i still mean that Nu Metal is metal.

that's quite clearly a difrent band, hell it even says under notes "Not to be confused with the popular mainstream nu-metal band Slipknot from Des Moines, Iowa." -.-

Nu Metal IS metal because it follows metal styles and rythyms. But it's Popular Metal, so it's never gonna get acceptance from the hardcore unpopular metalheads. It's never gonna be the underground scene that you love but that doesn't make it any less a valid form of expresion.

Nu Metal follows NO traits of traditional metal. They rap (not trad), their guitars are used purely for RHYTHM (not trad), their drums are more at home in alt rock (not trad). And to end this argument altogether: They have a DJ....

Nu Metal was a phrase coined by fat cats at MTV to advertise crap that was not seeing air time. It is popular (not to goths, thank you!) to only 6 year olds who think they have it tough (Also known as Mallcore).

it's called reading, a usefull skill, might come handy latter on

Why that just might be a useful skill, but reading while listening to music destroys the purpose of listening to the music. I listen to it to escape from everything around me so I'd rather not be distracted by reading along to the song while I headbang with it.
