only headbanging....well i did when i had my long ass hair.
but i really dislike dancing. partly 'coz i'm a fat dude and i feel like i'm starred at anyway but i really don't listen to music fit for dancing anyway.
i had to practice dancing in school though. like half year PE was dancing basics and i hated it!
it's like being forced to eat broccoli as a kid you probally will dislike it later on too.
not saying i'll dislike dancing forever but right now i can't see my opinion changing.

edit: well tbh if i had a few drinks and i'm at home (aka no one see's me) and if put on the right song i kinda dance...KINDA...drunk jumping turning flailing the arms...stuff you wouldn't want to see me doing in public

Not really. I've tried before, but I'm honestly just too damn uncoordinated to be any good at it.

Nope. It's too... aimless. In any sport, or really any other activity, there's a pretty clearly defined goal. Dancing doesn't really have that, so it usually just means a night of me awkwardly trying to copy someone who looks like they know what they're doing.

Yes. I can dance foxtrot, box-step(a waltz), tango and bugg(a Swedish swing dance variant). I'd love to learn mambo and salsa.

Main problem is that the girls around here rarely can dance anything but solo stuff.

I go ballroom dancing once a week and its great fun. Not really one for clubbing and the sort of dancing you do there though.

I've never actually been clubbing and don't drink so have no real experience of the kind of dancing most people do. I do, however, thoroughly enjoy Scottish country dance and ceilidh dancing. Out of all the activities I do, that's the one where I've met the most people from the widest variety of places. I've done a little bit of Highland dancing too but would like to take lessons because while it's great fun, I'm not very good at it (requires a lot more bounce and better coordination than I currently have). I also have a friend who has tempted me into wanting to try blues dancing too, but I'm currently in the finishing degree/moving around to find a career phase so don't really want to take up any new forms of dance until I settle down.

I dance a lot, both at home and in clubs. I dance to industrial dance music generally, but I try not to do the standard industrial dance stuff as I find it a bit stiff and repetitive. I'd say I try to be more on the electrodance/tecktonic end of the spectrum.

I really started a few years ago. Until then I'd always danced a bit at clubs but always felt kind of awkward doing so, which I guess is probably how most people feel, but then I just started practicing at home and watching videos on youtube. Basically, I think people have this idea that dancing is just a natural skill some people have, but it isn't. All the people I've ever met who I think are good at dancing, even just the people who look good messing around on a dancefloor, are good because they practice.

Well.. that and confidence, but even then practice makes confidence easier.

I really like to dance but by God do I suck at it. The term "dance like there is no one watching you" was made for me after a few beers.
Thankfully my lack of dancefloor moves doesn't translate to a lack of bedroom move or I would get no play from the ladies.

I learned early in my life that I wasn't meant to dance. All the music I listen to reflects that. I did at one point, but I felt ridiculous and probably looked pretty stupid.

On a side note, I find it pretty funny that people think that just because I listen to electronic music that I want to dance. Isn't that funny??
