I did and there's a rather interesting story as to why, well at least I think it's interesting... Err, anyway, I was after a girl who I felt I could land, I was kinda right, and after having some intimate moments, nothing sexual, I figured we would eventually end up in bed so I measured it seeing as how this would be my first time, maybe, plus I was a little insecure... Yeah, but I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that while most guys don't really care about the size of a womam's breasts, that won't stop them (us?) from comparing, and it won't stop them from noticing larger breasts. I think the same probably applies for women. If you get an honest answer, they'll say it doesn't really matter, but when nobody's feelings are on the line, they'll do their locker-room talk about how big their boyfriend/boytoy/fiance/husband is and get a little giggle over how 'lucky' they all are.

Then again, I went to an all boys high school, near an all girls high school, so I've been around my fair share of shallow men, and heard the talk about all the shallow women.

Length really matters much less than girth. While the vagina is a bit stretchable, its average size is between 3 and 4 inches, and only the first inch of so has pleasure nerves. In other words, from a pleasure point of view, you only need an inch or so. Not to mention most women don't actually orgasm from intercourse.
On the other hand, some women like it when it hits their cervix. Others hate it. It's a matter of taste.

For example, my dodge intrepid gets the job done, economically and conveniently. But I don't brag about it when I know the neighbor drives a ferrari. Doesn't matter that the ferrari cant really be driven anywhere practically, as it will bottom out pulling out of a driveway, and it doesn't matter that the owner doesn't have a clue how to park. Doesn't mean everyone else who knows about it doesn't think about it in envy.
