I have. Twice in fact. Once out of curiousity, and once because I was asked (I'd forgotten my previous measurement).

EDIT: I wonder if there's any correlation between size and willingness to measure. I'm generally a curious person, so I did it just to see where I stand against everyone else. What I'm more curious to find out is whether the 5.5 inch average includes fatties, because overweight men actually have longer penises than what you can see (to understand why this is, blow up a rubber glove and watch the fingers shrink). If they only account for the visible length of the penis then the inclusion of fatties in the sample would lower the average, making the average for non-overweight men probably closer to 6-6.5 inches.

In any case, every girl that's ever seen/touched mine has said it's big (I'm fairly tall, so it's to be expected), but I'm sure every girl says that to every guy they're with just to boost their confidence, so you can't trust their word :p Don't lie girls, you know you do.

To get a proper measurement you take the length times diameter plus weight over girth divided by angle of the tip squared.

No, I'm not insecure.
Besides, as opposed to much of the popular culture floating around there's more to a man then his penis.

In 'Breakfast of Champions' by Kurt Vonnegut, the length of all the male characters' penises are given, along with statements about how they compared to the average length. One character, Kilgore Trout, was mentioned to have written a story about the dangers of comparing yourself to averages. It involved aliens, an ad campaign using average statistics, alien equivalents to peanut butter, measurements in regards to alien sex organs, and humans inflating the statistics as a means of psychological warfare.

I have never trusted numerical measurement since.

The surgeon general said it, it must be true.

Yeah.

I mean, if you're alone and just happen to have a ruler nearby, curiosity sort of takes over eventually.

Haha. I actually did that some days ago with a friend.
He's 23cm. I've never felt more insecure in my life :p Jesus christ

Seriously. Is there really anyone not measuring? It's like a rite of passage or whatever the term is.

I guess I technically did in the sense that I was wondering how large it was in comparison to my hand. Turned out that from where my wrist ends to the tip of my middle finger they're exactly the same.

I did a few weeks back even though I thought I never would. Its because me and this girl have really open conversations. And she wanted to know so I caved in and measured. I'm a fraction over the average, if you must know.

Captcha: so-so which kinda suits me in regards to this thread :p

Umm... No and I don't see a point why I should? I am a man and how long it is doesn't change how much of a man I am...

And just don't see why it is so important to know, or to care...

That's strange, cause this girl accused me of the same thing. Strange = not the same accusation, but the fact that I only started measuring after she accused me. Saying: 'All boys do it.'

Funny I guess, at one point the stereotype turn into the cliche, but before that, there's a strange middle-ground. Sorta.

I had done it out of curiosity of course only once a couple of years ago.

Haven't cared since.
