First off I would like to say that regardless of my moral viewpoint, it should absolutely be legal. No question. This is one more thing that the government has no right to control.

Morally, I'm usually pro-choice, on a case-by-case basis. There are situations where it is wrong and there are (far more often) situations where it is right.

I am pro choice.

If a woman or a pair of prespective parents wish to go down the abortion route its their choice.

I'm kinda torn on this one. On the one hand I feel that a woman who was raped and got pregnant as a result shouldn't be forced to carry the bastard's child and should be able to abort it. But on the other hand I think promiscuous women who go sleeping around and get pregnant should be forced to live with consequences of their stupidity, ie no abortions for them. Unfortunately it's hard to put that into law.

Ah, understandable.
But in a real world scenario that's how I want it.
I can get that.
We already have enough people screwed up who are raised by regular families.
Having a bunch of them raised by completely dysfunctional families would be less than ideal.

Democracy is about choice. Part of choice is being able to choose. Besides the fact that it doesn't really change anything for people who wouldn't choose to have an abortion anyway, where is it fair to take away options from other people?

To all those who are actively (otherwise, cool) pro-life, and this is an honest question not a flame, do you also tell people who do have children how to raise their families? Or tell people when to have children? Of course not. You wouldn't and that's fine, but where do you get off inserting yourself in other people's lives?

Personally, i think it should be a case by case type law. If it is because some couple was stupid and decided to have unprotected sex during a one night stand, then they should deal with the consequences. However, if it is a pregnancy caused by rape, then of course abortion should be made available

Parents should decide, both of them since both would take responsability, if not the mother has the right.

Abortion should be legal women should have the right to choose. There are some cases of rape that have resulted in pregnancys and honestly I don't think those women should be put through giving birth to a child that resulted from something horrible like that.
Other than those cases... It should still be legal to an extent. I mean if you have 5 abortions in a year its time to get her fixed. But if its an oops and the couple or woman has no means of talking care of the child, there are so many kids in foster or adoption or orphanages that abortion should be an option.

This is a hard one. I'm tempted to come down on the side of the pro-lifers, if not in a particularly vehement fashion because I understand their argument. Conflicting factors hold me in neutral. What if the woman was raped? What if they have no means of bringing up the child? But what about that potential child? Should they have their lives denied to them? But what does that mean for the lives of the person giving that life?

I'm not really sure where I stand on this one... Sorry if I'm not of much help. I certainly don't think that it should be done casually, but on the other hand, not many people would just casually make that kind of decision... I think this is best left in the hands of the individual.

Again, sorry for the vague post. I just can't come down on either side here.

Her choice.

Why force another unwanted baby into the world due to a silly accident. The life of an unwanted or resented child can be full of more pain than any abortion can cause.

I'll go with make it legal all the way around , if the child wasn't meant to be born it wasn't meant to be. It should be the woman's choice ultimately since it is her body, when men start getting pregnant then they can get more of a say

Who asked the kid that? I remain neutral on this issue, but I can definetely see the pro-lifers point... assuming they're supporting their stance on humanitarian and not purely religious grounds that is. Once potential life is in existance... who are we really to snuff it out?

There really isn't a right answer to this, in my opinion. It is too complicated, and there are so many good arguments on either side. I suppose ultimately you are right. It is the womans choice, though in the case of it being an accidental pregancy and not a rape, the father should get an imput.

Pro-choice all the way. All the anti-choice arguments I've ever heard are quite retarded.
