I'm Jewish. I find these Christmas threads annoying, as it is a bastardization of Chinese food and movie day, a sacred tradition.
I lol'd.

I don't even live at home right now, so I can't look but I've told them what to get for me anyway so I know almost everything.

My mom stays true to the "Hiding shit in ridiculous places till 1:00 AM on December 25th" tradition. So I won't know until Christmas.

I know you were being funny, and it was funny. But I'm getting sick of all these Jewish folks getting pissed about Christmas, I know a kid who got yelled at by a Jew for saying Merry Christmas.

No, because I already know what I'm getting. A few games I've asked for, and the rest is money which is going towards the purchase of a new laptop.

Whats this? Clothes? I had no idea.

This is my Christmas. Every year.(Except for this year apparently, cause my parents decided to buy me that new legend of zelda game thanks to one of my sisters recommendation.)

I'll be exited about Christmas when it gets here.

Why would I look at what I'm gonna get? It won't change anything as I will still have to wait until Christmas to use it anyway. It's better not to that way you don't get all exited while you wait for Christmas.

Had a chance to look, just wasn't all that interested.

My inner child is rotting in a ditch somewhere.

We are not having Christmas this year. Not even putting up a tree. Why celebrate when we really cannot afford to? Makes the holidays more depressing.
You dont need expensive stuff for christmas for it to be christmas. Just enjoy time with your time with your family

Ok, my family is an ocean away. So is my husband's. We spent what we would normally use to buy presents with catching up on the bills. We are no long behind, and got a couple ofthem paid off. Having the CC paid off doesn't make a festive holiday. Just makes the rest ofthe year alot easier to live through.

Fake holiday? but it is a day to commemorate when our Savior Santa rose from the dead and saved us from the evil forced of Megatron.
Oh god yes.

I know some of the things I am getting: a PS3 because I found the black friday (or boxing day to those of you who don't live in America) deal and the 7 games I am getting because I picked them out. I know I am rather spoiled especially since I already have an Xbox 360 but the PS3 is a christmas and birthday present and two of the games came with it (go black friday). As for everything else I have no idea.
