I switched to Chrome after Firefox fucked me over.
I have heard Firefox has gotten better, but I see no reason to switch until Chrome screws up.

Honestly, I just wish more people would back up their preference. I am constantly amazed how many people like Browser A, and back it up by saying "it's just good" or some other silly or sarcastic statement.

For example, I don't like that chrome doesn't do an auto 'I'm feeling lucky' when I type a search phrase into the URL spot. But I do like that it is much lighter on my memory and CPU.

Personally, Opera.
Occasional crashes aside, the custom search string function is glorious.

My personal option would be Firefox, but that's just because I got used to it by now. I use it since 2005 and I'm not in a rush to switch browsers now.

Firefox so slow now that I sometimes think Mozilla is taking the piss.

No program created to interpret text documents should take 3 minutes to open.

Ever.

Chrome, Because it's wicked fast. And now that Chrome has extensions, firefox doesn't really have much of a leg to stand on.

Chrome takes some getting used to compared to Firefox but I have noticed a lot faster connection than Firefox or IE

Chrome has the "most viewed" sites when you open it up, and a list of recently closed tabs, and porn mode, and seems to load pages faster in my experience, and lots of other little things that add up to a great browser.

Neither I use Internet Explorer and it works fine for me.
I have no idea why it gets so much bad press.
IE does not fit the needs of people who demand more than their computer/internet experience. IF it does the job fine then that's okay. But the more "serious" (for lack of a better word, no offense) surfers need something better. And I can't even think of any benefits of IE over FF/Chrome.

I second the motion of IE being underrated.

Who needs a dozen addons you rarely use anyway?
