well i use plenty of swears but not to excess they lose their utility when used too much

I have this theory that people who don't swear do so because of some primal instinct that tells them not to, while people who do swear do so because they can't see any logical reason why it's bad. I mean, can anyone give an actual reason why it's worse to say "You're a fucking great guy" than to say "You're really stupid"? A reason that that's not just another way of saying "It's bad to swear because it's bad to swear"?

I swear all the time. Sentence enhancers as Patrick so eloquently put it. I just think it's silly to use substitutions for words i.e. heck, crap, darn. Just sounds silly man. Really though, if those words were considered bad by the masses you wouldn't use them either, they are words and nothing more, and people should get over it. I'm not advocating swearing or anything, but what is the point in replacing them with other words when you mean the same thing when you say it, just don't use them at all.

Why do people give a fuck about "swearing"? Some one needs to go back in time and kill whoever decided which words were "swear" words. Words are WORDS. So called swear words are not going to cause famine or resurrect Hitler! People who sensor themselves should grow a FUCKIN pair.

You caan get put on probation in some sites, and even this one. Also, you need to treat otherers with respect if you want to get far in life, and swearing is not the way to go to get respect.

By the way, what is the point of swearing? does it make little middle sschoolers feel tough? is it a way to make up for a small dong? or are they just angry people? Anyway, most people dont want to get labled as any of these, so what really is the point of it?

The point of swearing?? The point is such a thing as swearing shouldn't exsist!! There should be no words off limits! My point isn't to sound like i have "a big dong", its to have free speech and say whatever the hell I want without people censoring me!
