Poll: Am I the only person who DOESNT like Mass Effect?

I haven't tried it yet (gasp?), but it's not like i really want to play it.

I cry a little some nights. When I think nobody is looking. It just feels so bad, so horribly, horribly bad.

Wait, Mass Effect oh different story, that game is alright.

Now im curious as to what you cry yourself to sleep at night over...wait maybe im not. On second thought keep that to yourself...

For some reason everyone seems to think Mass Effect is fantastic.
I on the other hand find it too repetitive and lacking any sort of actual action.
At the moment i am lost in C-Sec trying to find some guy, however the game gives no hint as how to find said guy and after about two days of searching i grew bored and sold the game.
So i ask you, what do you see in this game and is there anyone out there that agrees with me?

Edit: Why are people getting so defensive and angry? It's an oppinion, get used to it! Me disliking this game is my oppinion so just accept it!

I hated it as well and had exactly the same experience, even when I eventually got where I was suppossed to it still annoyed me.

No you are not and stop trying to think hating a loved game is special.

Agreed. It's like playing a movie, but with an easier story to follow than MGS4. What's not to like?

Oh, right. The gameplay. That said, I'm a huge fan. The only faults I found were the squad's movements- they always seemed to end up in my crosshairs- and that the rover handled like, as Yahtzee said, a fat man on a unicycle.

well honestly i dont really like mas effect because of the way it forces you to read an entire novel every 3 secounds But on the other hand i see were your coming from fallout 3 is kinda crapy if you compare it to oblivion but this is just my opinion

You don't have to read anything. You need to listen if you want the story, but that's par for the course.
