Poll: anime and manga

I do both, but honestly, I read far more manga than I watch anime.

Anime I still watch: Slayers, Steel Angel Kurumi (first series), Yu Yu Hakusho, Cowboy Bebop, Melencholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. A smattering of other things, occasionally.

Manga I read: Negima, Fruits Basket, Full Metal Alchemist, Hayate the Combat Butler, Bleach, Naruto, Ouran High School Host Club, Kashimashi, Negima, Fruits Basket, One Piece, Gunsmith Cats, Chibi Vampire, Lunar Legend Tsukihime, Gals, He Is My Master, Love Hina.

Manga I've completed: Ai Yori Aoshi, Chobits, Absolute Boyfriend, Azumanga Daioh.

Once my friend said: "ooo, I like graphic novels. Do you read them?"
Without thinking I was like "oh yeah. yeah, I do" (thinking FateStayNight). Of course, she was referring to Western types.
So she goes: "Oooo, so which ones."
Me: "well, Fa...." (thinks). ..... (OH SHIT). "ehh..well...ya know..I c..can't ..really remember right now..."

You mean visual novels? Or are you talking the FSN manga adaptation?

I've watched one anime series in my life (Neon Genesis Evangelion) and read two Mangas (Bleach & Deathnote). All of them were recommended to me by friends and I'm glad I did have a look at them, because they're all very good series. I wouldn't go out and find it myself, just wait for it to come to me which is handy, filters out all of the bad stuff.

Not quite. There's tentacle porn going back to at least the 17th century or so. Octopi, see.

i read the manga first because you get more out of the books than the anime because a lot gets censored out from the manga.


(hellsing is a good one..the TV series was terrible..but they made up for it on the OVA)

That is why i don't watch americanized stuff, like naruto on cartoon network was butchered, watch it online there are plent of free streaming sites.

yeh i agree when they americanize stuff they wreck it even if it was good
