Sticking to Full Metal Alchemist:Brotherhood, follows the manga beautifully and had some great animation and intro songshughs dies[end] it had to deviate in order to continue making episodes.
Also, what robot? I can't even remember it, and I'm pretty sure it was established in an alternative germany in both. (alternative world based somewhat on germany anyway)
True, but they properly established it as Germany and had London in it too. But yeah it is solely because they made the anime too soon after the manga started.
