And I'm talking indie. But not so indie that I couldn't ever find their stuff. It can be any genre (I know that "indie" isn't really a type of music), so feel free to share your favorite local bands and such. Please also put where they are from.

is a good one if you like a bit of variety. They're kind of pop/rock/acoustic/emo for the most part. They remind me a lot of the Early November.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to make it at all in today's music industry man? Just being good doesn't cut it anymore. Plus, look at today's most popular music- it's awful!

He's not a band, but "indie" is definitely the first word that comes to mind when you listen to him.
