I would really really really like to get both but I might not even have enough money for BF3. Now, Fanboys don't flame me. I got BF3 because it comes with cool bonuses where MW2 gets nothing(insert willy wonka and the chocolate factory joke here).

I am getting both. And by "getting", I mean renting. They're both pretty shitty excuses for games, seeing as how they only last about 5 hours in total (I'm taking the Yahtzee route here of saying MP can go fuck itself in this scenario), but are a good way to kill those 5 hours because of how well produced they are. But worth $60? Not on Bobby Kotick's life.

Yes I have pre ordered both because I believe to like one of them I don't have to have a level of hate of the other that leads me to foam at the mouth and spout solid crap 24/7.However Game has just emailed me saying they might cancel my pre order of battlefield 3 because they have limited stock fucking arse-wipes better sort it out or I'll go on a chibbing spree(just kidding but seriously I'm pissed).

MW3, probably. I want to see the end of the story mode. I don't care if it's a load of crap, I finish what I start. Battlefield 3... probably not. I was never very invested in the story- hell, I'm not even sure there IS one. However, if the gameplay is innovative and crazy enough, then I have the disposable income to get both.
Don't buy Battlefield 3 for the single player...just don't. The single player campaign will be an extended tutorial in combat and vehicle controls wrapped up in a story. It is the first time Battlefield will have a single player outside of Bad Company. It won't be any longer or involved than the single player for Modern Warfare 3. Once the multiplayer settles down and the deathmatch centred players learn to play for the objective and learn class roles then I expect if will be very satisfying.

Originally i was going to get both. But then EA had that brilliant origin idea, (yes i know i can sandbox it but i dont support that kind of action from any company) thus leaving me with MW3.

So yeah, thats how its gonna happen.

I would get both, but seeing as how EA is ignoring the complaints about the ToS for Origin
Wait, what?

They significantly changed origin's terms, in one of the rare instances where a bunch of people whining on the internet actually paid off.

This is something we probably won't see again in ages, and we're pretending it didn't happen?

Getting EA to recant as much as they did is tantamount to Scrooge suddenly loving Christmas. While the end result may not benefit tiny Tim is much, it hardly seems fair to ignore.
They didn't significantly change the terms, but they did make it less obvious what you are agreeing to. I'll acknowledge the fact that we made a mark on them from the complaints, but the change wasn't large enough.

I'm getting both because I'm not a fanboy of one camp vs the other camp. If I want teamplay, I'll play BF3, if I just NEED to own some guys, I'll play MW3, not to mention the fact that I can afford to play both, so to me, it doesn't matter.

Err...Yes they did. They limited the information gathered and the restrictions to be on par with Steam, further displaying the hypocrisy of people who don't mind Valve data mining them but ***** about EA. This was a MAJOR shift from their ill-defined and open terms.

battlefield 3 for me, im not wasting any more money on copy n paste mw3 and to all those justifying buying it to see "how it ends" i can tell you now, it ends with you having to buy the next copy n pasted mw4 -_- and if that isnt a good enough response, just read the plot on wiki and save ya self £45
