Don't buy Battlefield 3 for the single player...just don't. The single player campaign will be an extended tutorial in combat and vehicle controls wrapped up in a story. It is the first time Battlefield will have a single player outside of Bad Company. It won't be any longer or involved than the single player for Modern Warfare 3. Once the multiplayer settles down and the deathmatch centred players learn to play for the objective and learn class roles then I expect if will be very satisfying.Pandaman1911 said:MW3, probably. I want to see the end of the story mode. I don't care if it's a load of crap, I finish what I start. Battlefield 3... probably not. I was never very invested in the story- hell, I'm not even sure there IS one. However, if the gameplay is innovative and crazy enough, then I have the disposable income to get both.
They didn't significantly change the terms, but they did make it less obvious what you are agreeing to. I'll acknowledge the fact that we made a mark on them from the complaints, but the change wasn't large enough.Zachary Amaranth said:Wait, what?Warrior Irme said:I would get both, but seeing as how EA is ignoring the complaints about the ToS for Origin
They significantly changed origin's terms, in one of the rare instances where a bunch of people whining on the internet actually paid off.
This is something we probably won't see again in ages, and we're pretending it didn't happen?
Getting EA to recant as much as they did is tantamount to Scrooge suddenly loving Christmas. While the end result may not benefit tiny Tim is much, it hardly seems fair to ignore.
Err...Yes they did. They limited the information gathered and the restrictions to be on par with Steam, further displaying the hypocrisy of people who don't mind Valve data mining them but ***** about EA. This was a MAJOR shift from their ill-defined and open terms.Warrior Irme said:They didn't significantly change the terms, but they did make it less obvious what you are agreeing to.
