Maybe its just me but it seems that the CoD games by Treyarch are easier than the MW games. In WaW dogs was no problem at all to get. super easy. In MW1, it was actually difficult to get a chopper. In MW2, I never got a nuke. In Black Ops, I dont even own it, I played with my friend for about 3 hours and got to level 15 and got about 10 chopper gunners. It was supremely easy and the same thing was happenening to a lot of other people too. Please comment on this.

Fuck no, That level in black ops where you're in those tunnels after you shoot down the rocket is one of the most cheap/hard god damn levels I've ever played in my life.

I haven't noticed it.

Now if you will excuse me, I still have to beat Heart of the Riech on Vetren, 2 years after WaW's release.

I fail to see how you can call Black Ops easier when there is no stopping power/juggernaut, and the killstreaks don't stack. Not to mention that the guns actually have recoil, making the game much more skill oriented.
Of course, since it is skill oriented, it is all a matter of perspective. Personally, I've never had a tough time getting tons of kills in Call of Duty, due to massive amounts of time spent as a slayer in competitive FPS games over the years.

It's just easier to get killstreaks becuase you don't die as often, leading to longer killstreaks and fast XP gain. With less powerful killstreaks, nerfed grenade launchers, and no commando, there's a lot less BS going on (except for spawn killing, which actually seems to have gotten worse).

If you've played WaW's veteran mode, you know what I mean when I say

Fuseless grenades.

Single player is retardedly hard. Enemies that are running full speed and spraying from across the map hit you. Not to mention the return of the infinitely spawning enemies.

I'm going to say yes, just because Call of Duty 1 was so hard, it puts Infinity ward about 500% higher on the difficulty scale than all of Treyarch's games by itself.

Black Ops seems like it puts each player on more equal ground.
So instead of having to decide between putting stopping power on all your guns, or using something else and having a damage disadvantage, each player does the same amount of damage relative to the gun they're using, and have the same amount of health.
In a straight firefight, the more skilled player will win, instead of the guy who has more health or does more damage. That is the way FPS games should be...
So maybe Black Ops rewards those who are more apt at the game, and the OP is just better in a straight firefight overall?
Since in Modern Warfare 2 and the other Call of Duty games, there were all kinds of ways a less skilled player could cheaply rise above a seasoned pro...
That was my problem with the past Call of Duty games. They were so inconsistant, meaning you could join a game and be the top player, and in the exact same lobby next game, or sometimes even in the middle of a good game, your score can plumment due to unlucky occurences such as a predator missile seeking you out or getting spawn killed five times in a row the second you skipped a killcam...

the AI on BO either have some issues or MW1/2 AI is 4 times better, cuz I died at least twice per mission on MW1/2, and barely on BO, apart from cheap shots

You can't talk about difficulty in multiplayer. It depends on what you're using against what they're using, your connection against theirs and how good they are at the game. It just doesn't make sense to attempt to create this vision of difficulty when in an online PVP environment such as Call of Duty's.

Treyarch makes shit games. I found COD4 harder than world at war. Treyarch was Infinity wards queer little brother until Infinity ward got into a fight with its parent and papa Activision kicked it out. Now its up to stupid little Treyarch to live in Infinity wards shadow. Black Ops as MW2 clone. The campaign is the same pointless set piece base crap shoot. I give the multiplayer component props they made it so it wasn't exactly the same as MW2. Thats all I have to say about that.
whoa, what is with the hate? Treyarch is equal to Infinity Ward. Well, a bit better than infinity ward.

Thats because you arent been killed every 10 seconds by some cheap n00b tactic... AKA quick scoping, teleport knifing, n00b tubing, etc.

You will have noticed hardly anyone plays as a sniper now that you cant quick scope and drop shotting has increased because you dont need to be good at the game and earn money to unlock that unlike the n00b tube.

Also a nuke took 25 kills to get, the highest streak on Black Ops is 11.

Oh and nuketown sucks.

Grab a Kar-98, stay back, and pick off Germans from a distance. EVENTUALLY, they stop coming and you can move forward. It takes a while though. I know exactly what you're talking about. However, if you don't have a console version, I wish you luck, as I am told enemies keep coming on the PC.

On Topic: The only Call of Duty game I haven't beaten on Veteran is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. STUPID NO FIGHTING IN THE WAR ROOM TIMER! DIE!!!!!! All others, I have beaten on the hardest setting. Take out a timer, and I can get any mission done, eventually.

Easier? No.
Poorly Designed? Yes.

I'd like to present the Jugg/MP40, Black Ops Sniping, and Black Ops Spawn System as evidence.

Just asking, anyone beat the submarine stealth mission with Price in MW2? I never beat it cause of the retarded 90 second timer

Hell no.

Veteran in CoD 3 and 5 is freaking nuts. Especially in 3.

CoD 4 was annoying, but I did it. MW2 was easy, since it removed "infinite respawning enemies".
