Well Im more of a PC gamer myself, but I do own a Wii. However, I have only payed for one Wii game, and that was Guitar Hero 3, as I got 2 guitars with it, and I now use them for every other guitar hero and Rock band. My Wii is chipped, and I downloaded every single game I have for it. Also, the same applies to every PC game I have.
In my opinion, games ARE way too expensive. I think 25 Euros for a Wii game is enough, and 30 or 35 for a PS3 & XBox 360 games, as well as PC. I think companys should do like Valve and release shorter games at cheaper cost, BUT released more frequently. I think that would probably work better.

I never pay over £30 ($50) for a video game if I can help it. Unless it's something I really, really want, but that's very rare (ES:V) and I'll usually wait for them to come down to about £20 if possible. Or buy on ebay, since retailers around here have been pushing upwards of £60 for a new game like MW2 (that's about $100!)
Since I live in Australia I'm use to $100 - $120 for a game... probably why I don't play new games that much
I absolutely refuse to spend full price on a game. I'll just wait a year or so until it comes way way down. I didn't buy Oblivion until the GOTY version had been out for a while, picked it up for 20 dollars US. Why would I spend over $100 on a game + DLC when I could just wait a bit? Also STEAM sales are awesome, I picked up S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC and Clear Sky both for under $10. If it's a really short game, I'll just play it at a friends house.
