Yeah it's great. Any "kids" show that sneaks Bonanza and 6 Million Dollar Man references in is awesome. Plus all the surreal humour.

Personally, if this show can somehow drag some of those early developing girls AWAY from the accursed "Twatlight Saga" (eh eh, I'm so clever), it's all for the best!
So, does that make the fact that the main character is named 'Twilight Sparkle' ironic?
"My Little Pony" is an older franchise! If anything, "Twatlight" (yeah, that's how I'll call it from now on) has ruined that particular name for everybody! I mean, Twilight used to be one of coolest names: The Twilight Zone, The Twilight Realm... but now we'll forever associate it with emo vampire twattercakes and submissive, home violence-prone virgins.
Eh... "Twatlight", that's got to be the smartest pun ever!

Brony? Honestly, I'm still apprehensive about the word. And I would never admit this in person to any males my age, but...goddamn, I love My Little Pony. I was curious what all the fuss was about, so I watched an episode. I almost didn't watch the second because I was afraid I would like it. But I did watch it. And now I am absolutely hooked. There is no reason why bot it and depression should exist in the same universe. Its just so...so...happy. I see all the hallmarks of a child-centric cartoon, and yet...I literally cannot watch a clip of Fluttershy without smiling. There is a special kind of genius behind it.

I'll be honest, I've not seen any of this show due to my net being worse then crap and Britain not airing it but it does sound like something that'd interest me. Dunno why though.

Although I'll admit, the fandom is a bit annoying in prolonged doses. Nothing wrong with saying you like the show, posting a pic or two, not at all. It's just when it starts appearing more as a cult then anything that it gets a bit annoying. And saying things like "Join the herd." and "Accept the pony" to those who are indifferent or against it is creepy and very cultish behaviour, at least to me.
Oh the creepiness is taken to the next level when you start looking through the fanfiction...

The show itself is really good. All fandoms have their crazy sections. Like the Sonic fandom for example...

[sub][sub]Nuts about your internet though.[/sub][/sub]

That being said, it's better than a lot of kids shows out there - at least for an adult to have to sit through. Seriously - sit through a full ep. of Caillou or Elmo and you'll see what I mean.
Oh dear lord...

My nephew (a little over 2) loves Caillou. I endured hours of that insipid, boring, pointless show when I babysat him. That said, and you're not going to believe this, Caillou is one of the better shows on the Sprout channel. Need proof?
I have no idea what that is.

Of course, I'm a Canuck, and up here we get Treehouse. Likely similar, but still needs to adhere to Candian Content regulations.

You have my condolences though, if you've had to sit through multiple Caillou viewings. That's hard time, man. HARD time.

WHy....just why? I've watched the links some people have posted here and I still don't understand why anyone (be them 10 year old girls or 20 year old men) can like this show...

Example:person A: So I was listening to this song called Winter Wrap Up, and it just got stuck in my head...

Person B: Winter Wrap Up? What kind of name for a song is that?

Person A: What? You haven't heard that song? It from the episode of My Little Pony where?

Person B: I no longer give a fuck.

Person A: Relax! I'm just an awesome Brony who is?

*Person B punches Person A across the face*
Damn you, I finally got Giggle at the Ghostie out my head and now it's replaced with Winter Wrap Up >.<

Nope, never seen it (don't even now if they're playing it here in lil' ol' Belgium).
Although, I've seen a couple of meme pictures based of it and, I must admit, some of them are pretty funny.
They are ALL over Youtube.

Lauren Faust (who is most of the creative talent behind the series) even linked Youtube videos to say that you can watch it there.

Enjoy :)

Brony? You guys do realise that when you give it a name it loses it's appeal and most meaning, right? Like punk, or better yet, Dada.

No. I have watched around 5 episodes of MLP and yeah I did enjoy them, but there has has to be some reason why I haven't been arsed to watch it again after two months.

I just hate the show cause it's remotely connected to 4chan. Anything that ever came close to that place is forever cursed with the unfunny virus.

It maybe semi intelligent and have a couple of lolworthy moments, but its still aimed at little girls, with all the sickly, saccharine schmaltz you'd expect- by all means watch it but dont get all het up when I say its childish drivel.

Yes, I really like this show.

I find the haters really funny to watch.

ps. by haters I mean people who go off there nut, not people who dislike the show that are normal.
