I personally don't think the first two pilot episodes are really the best in the series. But the other episodes were pretty good.

Admittedly, I had help making them. There's a generator [http://generalzoi.deviantart.com/art/MLP-FiM-Pony-Creator-Beta-210228500] on DevArt that I was linked to. It doesn't have an option for cutey marks, but he knows what his would be (a d20, for the record). I don't yet.
Only just, but yeah, I'm a huge brony, well into the community (except eqd cos that site is a pile of shit)
By 'only just' I mean that I really didn't like the first two episodes and was all set to give up when I couldn't get to sleep and thought 'fuck it, i'll watch another because i have nothing else to do', was mediocred by that and then only by the fourth episode was I hooked.

pretty much the same boat here. i'm not one to follow fads and didn't have any intention of watching the show, then i ran into a 'challenge' to watch the first 3, so i was like, challenge accepted and did it. i didn't have much of an opinion after the first 2, then i watched the 3'rd, then 4'th, then 5'th... damn, they got me. i have a soft spot for 'slice of life' anime, and that's basicly what it is (after the first 2, anyway) plus you've got the animation, the music, the VA's, the art style, the characters, the homages... just too much good stuff.PoisonUnagi said:

I guess you could say that. I am a 19 year old guy who enjoys the show. I personally don't think it's the best show I've ever seen. But compared to most of the cartoons that have came out in the last few years:
I have to say it's a pretty damn big step in the right direction in terms of the quality in kids shows. The characters actually have distinctive personalities, the art design is quite attractive, and it's pretty funny. The creator of the show actually went out of her way to make it so that the show can appeal to anyone, not just little girls.
To be honest, I didn't think I'd like the show that much, but I was wrong.

The characters actually have distinctive personalities, the art design is quite attractive, and it's pretty funny. OT: No, I have no interest in watching that. I've seen a few of the parody/mashups though and they were pretty good.
