Cats are stinky and can be very loud (depends on the personality, similarly to dogs). Dogs are, on average, smarter than cats, though it varies greatly from breed to breed. I've had a couple of border collies. They're so intelligent it's almost shocking. Much more intelligent than my cat (who is fairly impressive herself).Lilani said:I'm a cat person. I don't mind being around dogs, but I would never want to own one. They are big, expensive, high-maintenance, stinky, stupid, and loud. At least you don't have to walk a cat twice a day in the rain, sleet, or snow or entertain it constantly.
omg catdog!!Monkeyman O said:CATDOG!
Cats win. Ever heard of LOLDOGZ? No? Because dogs aint funny!
Dogs are needy, attention starved pieces of shit.
Cats on the other hand are pure awesome. They are better than people. They enslaved the Egyptians and still control most of the world today only people don't realise it.
Dogs on the other hand are nothing more than tool no more awesome than a screw driver or a wrench except 1000 times more annoying, messey and smelly.
Id say that depends enitrely on the dog (and breed), if its a small dog then thats a non-issue (plus small doesnt always mean "yappy/fits in a handbag") we've had small dogs and they ahve been awsome (you know, the kinf with an actual snout and pointy ears)LadyRhian said:I've lived with both cats and Dogs, and I prefer all animals. That being said, cats come out on top by a margin. And think on this- a Dpg looks up to you because you are his pack leader- not out of true affection. (and if you aren't the Alpha, you are going to have problems with the dog, generally- if he sees himself as higher than his owner in the pack hierarchy? That's a recipe for trouble.
On the other hand, Cats have no pack hierarchy of any type. If they are spending time with you and showing affection- it's really love. Cats don't need to suck up to a pack leader like dogs do, so when they show affection and wanting to be with you, I think it's more "pure" in emotion.
Yes, I like dogs. That's my personal opinion on the matter.(Which, by the way, was already implied before you pointed it out) I will offer no facts or arguments to back that opinion up. Care to explain why there's something wrong with that?kortin said:You, sir, constructed this post with the utmost amount of facts possible and I respect you for adhering to only the facts, and not allowing opinions to grace the words that you have typed. *snerk*Frozen Donkey Wheel2 said:I don't hate cats or anything, but I don't understand how anyone could like cats more then dogs. God, I miss having a dog....
