I'm a big Naruto and Bleach Fanboy =3

Don't judge me for Naruto..

..I can't help but love Shippuden.
I can agree with Naruto, but I think Bleach has gone downhill.
I just got into Bleach not that long ago. From where I am in the story, I don't see much of a problem. But then again, every anime can only last so long =/

Just like the original Naruto =o
When it starts mentioning "Bounts" or "Bountos", STOP! This is the beginning of filler of Naruto proportions. Skip to episode 110. After that it still feels stale to me. You may like it, though.

I love In Flames, and recently spent another £16 collecting the last few songs I had missing from my music list. I now have 105 songs by them including bonus packs. Is that fanboyism? If so, I'm a fanboy and proud of it. Although I wouldn't go out of my way to insult those who do not agree with my music taste, unless they started it.

Being a fanboy can be good or bad, and it carries as many bad connnotations as the word 'emo' or 'chav' now does, even though not all of the people those terms describe correspond to the stereotype. So I don't take fanboy as an insult.

Sega fanboys are what destroyed sonic the hedgehog, and by extension Sega itself.

If people would stop buying it because it has sonic in it, then they'll have to start making good ones again!

Based on the above comment I would like to conclude that fanboys actually hurt the franchise they adore and are ultimately a negative force in the universe.

Sorry.

Yeah you could probably call me a fanboy. I'm not the overly fanatical fanboy type though, although I won't tolerate senseless bashing of that which I enjoy or the characters I like.

I'd be considered a fanboy, but not a hateable one. I respect others views, and respect the flaws of that which I like.

For instance, I love Halo. I don't say it's the best made sci-fi story/game/whatever, but I enjoy it more than most other things.

Same goes for Star Wars, prequel trilogy included. I love all six movies, and laugh at the campiness of the prequel trilogy and still admit it's nowhere near as good as the originals.

I'm not the type to deny faults. That's foolishness, and is disgutingly common among gamers...
you and i are on the same boat except replace the halo part with fallout but hey we all can't be the same.

I consider myself a fanboy, although I'm not sure if I really qualify. But I'm a huge fan of transformers and star wars, and sony as well, but as far as sony goes, I think it's more loyalty than anything else, because I'll be the first to point out they really screwed things up, like, no backwards compatibility on the PS3. That was a brilliant maneuver.

Note, I said "senseless" as in saying it sucks for no apparent reason, but if you tell me you don't like it and can back it up with valid arguments then I can probably respect your opinion, even if I don't agree with it.

Um...I'm becoming a bit of a ps3 fanboy, but not an overtly biased one, as I have had my 360 for many years, and my ps3 for a total of 3 weeks.

Being called a fanboy is both a good and bad thing. If you, say, wish every FPS to bem ade would be like Halo 3, I would call you a fanboy in the 'Please go suck on an exhaust pipe" kind of way. If, however, you're crazy about something to a certain degree, it's a good thing. I, for one, am I fanboy for the Air Gear anime.

Being a fanboy is being a rabid jerk on forums defending -every- single aspect of whatever it is you're a fanboy of, often by trying to make the competitors look worse.

"I think the 360 is pretty good, it's got worse hardware than the PS3 but at the price it's worth it"

"PS3 SUCKS ITS FOR NOOBS KILLZONE IS GAY U TARD HALO ROCKS"

Can you spot the difference?

(At least that's what they mean in my mind, I don't think Merriam Webster has a definition of fanboy yet.)
no thats the new definition of fanboy, the old one is being just a big fan of a certain franchise like starwars or naruto or something, you can see the flaws but you look past them because your such a fan,

But now it means I HATE TEH PS3 TUR TUR TUR XBOX RULLS which it should be...

Some would call me a Microsoft fanboy since I would never even think of owning a Mac or PS3. It's more of an issue of I think their products are crap more than I like Microsoft.
