No theres no reason to its going to happen regardless of what I do so why would I waste time and energy on worrying about it, I don't think I'll ever be "ready" to die there will always be something more I could do more to learn more to experience so I'll never feel as though its my time and I'll fight to live as long as I can but there are worse things than death and part of accepting that to me meant coming to terms with the idea of me ceasing to exist.

I want to live forever, I mean until the sun goes super-nova and destroys our planet kind of forever.

But... I'm not afraid of death. In fact I'd welcome it, for the right cause - I'd gladly give my life to save someone else. I guess I want to live forever or not at all.

Weird, huh?

I'm not afraid of death, mainly because there has been a couple point in my life where I felt like I was about to die, or in one case, had to wonder if I was dead for a few moments.Combine that with the fact that I'm around death constantly, I just grown use to the idea of death, and the fact that it will eventually get me. I don't wish to die, but I simply except the fact that I will die, and that its nothing to worry about.

Of death? No.

Of what comes after? Most definitely.

So then the question becomes, what comes after. can't say much else really.

I will admit I am. I imagine it as just sleeping forever without dreaming, just darkness forever never to wake up again. Every time I think about it I cringe and just try to take my mind off of it.
Pretty much this. I'm agnostic and something I tend to find myself wondering about is what happens after death. This tends to last for about one minute as the unknown aspect about it begins to scare me.

I suppose based on technicality I'd say say no, as Im more concerned about the painful process that we tend to die in, and generally the idea of death doesnt terrify me of itself.

I'm gonna go with no.
Just because I don't want to die doesn't mean I'm afraid of death.
I'll try to avoid dying early, I'll fight to live, but I'm not afraid.
If anything I'm afraid of people whom I know dying

I'm not really afraid of death. In fact, I already decided what I want on my gravestone.

Here lies scout.
He ran fast, his shotgun couldn't kill shit if he tried,
and did he ever try, every time he tried to hit something with this baseball bat he got sniped,
and he was melee'd to death by a medic.
He died a man who understood almost every single reference in Zettai Hero Project.
Better known as, "a virgin."

I fear no enemy, for the Kala is my strength
I fear not death, for our strength is eternal

just had to throw that out there

anyway, being Catholic I believe in life after death. To me death isn't and end so much as a new beginning.

Not really, we go out for drinks every other Thursday. Death's quite the conversationalist, I'll give him that...

Yes, very much so. I grew up indoctrinated by the church and my religious-zealot parents, so even though I've come to terms that I don't believe in God, that niggling doubt in the back of my mind saying "What if you're wrong, Bigshot?" is terrifying.

The dying part--it depends. Death, I'm not afraid of. I'm not an extremely religious person, but I have a faith in the afterlife. Being dead does not scare me. Although the idea of a painful death does scare me.

I'm not afraid of the dying part, even if I'm killed somehow. Its just not knowing what comes after. Even if I knew that I would burn in hell for the rest of the eternity, that would be better than not knowing at all or simply not existing anymore. I fear for my consciousness.

I'm more of afraid of other things like pain, torture, starvation, isolation,... death is easy... like Jack said it in Mass Effect 2 - "Fuckin' ON & OFF switch"... but dying in pain or the concept that you will never see your loved ones again... at least not in this world... or if you're a rich guy... the concept of leaving this world & not being able to take anything with you... well it depends on how you look at death really & how it occurs.
