A few months ago I had a near-death experience. Lovely little head-on at sixty kph (suzuki swifts have amazing safety features for such little cars, btw). Last thing I felt before impact could be translated into words as 'nofuckingwayIcan'tgonow!!!!'
I guess I'm not afraid, per se, but I'm definitely not ready to kick the bucket!

I don't fear dying as much as I fear the act of dying.

In other words, the inevitability of myself not existing does not scare me in the least, but the action of dying (perhaps in a painful manner) does.

Somewhat. My only concern with death are the one that happen suddently or when you least expected. This is because of thinking about the aftermath of my death like what my friend will feel or what happen to my belonging? I always say I should make a Will but I haven't make one well except a minor note (I really hope I don't regret this).
Not only that depending if there is a afterlife or not if my mind linger on about what happen to my friends growing up or how certain webcomic or series end. So it pretty much dying with or without regrets.

I'm not afraid of death, I'm just afraid of it sneaking up to me when I don't expect it.

I'm not afraid of death, because I just think things end. A clean break. I don't think I'd want to live forever. I think things should end sometime.

Then again, I'm scared of growing old and feeble. Being useless would break my heart.

Not at all.

There is nothing to fear.

I don't want to die anytime soon, but fearing it? Not in the slightest.

Im not afraid of the idea of dying, but Im afraid of dying on a painful way. But going peacefully, I'm cool with that.

after having a near death experience 3 weeks ago. yes im terrified.
I've had a couple. Death terrifies me.
Still, it's probably a long way off, so meh.
The terror's also lessened slightly by a morbid curiosity as to what happens.

Absolutely... Well maybe not directly "FEAR" It feels different.

I want to live, be young until i DECIDE not too.

Being destined to die, being a frail part in this vast universe is the ultimate humbling part of our existence. Death is the ultimate punchline of: You are NOTHING. Your will can't do ANYTHING.

And i dread the day i cease to be

Death is only the begining. i am semi religious but thats not where i get my solace if im wrong there is nothing after death except that thoes i leave behind and the hope they remember me in that remmebering i will be immortal. If there is an "afterlife" in whatever form then i can see thoes that came before me and mabey even do all the things i didnt in life. OH and haunt people cause right now ghosts dont exsist but ill fix that.

No. Everyone dies, why be afraid of something you know will happen?
It makes much more sense to be afraid of uncertainty.

Besides, I'd hate to live to old age.

We all die eventually. I'm curious to see what Death looks like, and what sort of a ... um ... diety, is he.

I wouldn't say I'm afraid of it, but I certainly will do EVERYTHING I can to stay alive.

No, I'm not afraid of death. I almost welcome it. I don't want to die in the sense of being shot, tortured... y'know the ones I mean. But I'm quite interested by death, and the legacy I will leave behind.

I don't encourage myself dying, not one bit. But I almost sort of am eager to experience it. I once saw a GIF image of a man dying while in an MRI scanner. The scanner picked up a massive surge of endorphin's, hormones, electricity, massive amounts of brain activity before he died. I'm quite intrigued by what that felt like. It was a beautiful thing to watch, despite the man dying.

I just think death isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes it can be beautiful and peaceful. And I hope that I die fully aware that I'm going to die. That way I can experience it with a smile. Legalize euthanasia please for all those suffering. :)

Yes. It was a while ago now, but at times, I really get the shivers when I think of death.

I'm not afraid of death.

I once came accross this quote about the idea of perfection, it was something along the lines of; "Perfection is not when you can no longer add to something, it is when there is no more that can be taken away."

I see death as the ultimate perfection (in a non crazy satanistic way), when you die you can no longer feel pain, suffering, regret or any other negative emotions, death is the ultimate peace.

Dying however is a different story. It's natural human behavious to avoid the pain of dying, you wouldn't run over to a wild tiger becasue you wanted to see how soft its fur is, becasue it would kill you, and probably eat you as well.

I'd say i'm afraid of dying because i have no idea when it will happen, when it is happening however, i just hope i have enough time to get to grips with the fact it is my end, so i can go peacefully.
