Poll: Are you angry at the escapist for canceling Unforgotten realms?

This series was the best thing on the Escapist. 10x better than the other crap like ZP and the Escapist show. Now all we have here is Apocolypse Lane and Doomsday Arcade.

On top of the cancelling of UR the forum community has pretty much degenerated into a bunch of search bar Nazi's and Yahtzee's bitches.

I think like most others of you in this thread I liked UR when it started out. But with the latest episodes it just seems to have sucked. Like the Team fortress episode... I'm not sure if I maybe missed something or didn't undertsand it but WTF. I mean could he not be bothered to animate a full episode or something.

Also thought the Harry Potter arc was a bit crap even if it did seem as though it was the beginning of a more structured storyline with Nater.

The first season was good, the second season was okay, and I gave up mid-way through the third season.
Sort of like Heroes in many aspects.
I'm not fussed.

I'm not angry at the Escapist for that, it just means that I have to go to another site to watch more episodes of the show (assuming he makes more. Here's hoping he does). But it was fun while it lasted. I can only thank the Escapist for putting the show on here in the first place.

I tried to watch it but I turned it off whiten minutes of the first episode. There Will Be Brawl is the best Escapist show and I will not miss Unforgotten Realms.

I can't express how much I loved the first 2 seasons. But you could tell the show had no life in it at all season 3 onwards.

The show was dead and had run its course. All shows end sometime, and this was its time I guess.

You honestly believe a significant amount of people regularly posted on the forums as a result of UR being posted on the site? And if they did those same people would just leave because the series got cancelled?

I like how you insult the entire community (and therefore myself) by cliaming that only those that watch episodes of UR and post on the forums are not "Search bar Nazi's and Yahtzee bitches", when in fact I highly doubt there is such a figure.

So your saying that all the good posters on the Escapist were Unforgotten Realms people? Last I checked those were the morons that made constant one lines post and had nothing to contribute to conversation.

Lets just hope all the UR fans will go somewhere else and stop posting in the Escapist.

It's not cancelled, per se. It's just stopped being shown on the Escapist. If you go to his site, Rob makes it rather clear that if he sells enough DVDs, he may start back up, possibly hosting it on his own site.

I really enjoyed it, and i'm sad that they have cancelled it.
But who knows... maybe they will return.

OK, so I have been watching a few episodes to get a feel for the show.

Not my cup of tea I suppose.

They feel more like a test of endurance than anything else. I play D&D from time to time and some days things GET this crazy, and it IS funny, but... this is just annoying.

No offense to the makers. They have a loyal fan in the OP and I wish them the best.
