Just try the demo, its just one of them games you have to play to understand really.

Well, if you want to see something concerning the actual gameplay, I did post a Quick Run-Through [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.76212#895095] of the demo in another part of the forums. A bit of a shameless plug, I know, but your bound to find it useful.

As for a personal opinion, I've already pre-ordered the game and have been playing the demo since the 6th. At this point it lives up to all of it's promises, and it's just the demo. When the real thing comes out, it'll come with four complete campaigns, and they're gonna kick so much ass, you'll probably go blind. And if you still have a problem with that, there's the big-ass door.

I'm going to get it off Amazon since its about £15 cheaper than Steam.

Me and 3 other friends have been playing it since the public demo came out and they are all buying it too.

But I think this is the kind of game that will suck if you can't find decent people to play with.

Expert mode is difficult and very rewarding when you watch a horde of infected get destroyed by a pipebomb.

Already preordered it for my pc. I would usually go for teh 360 since I have an pc that is starting to age and dont perform well, but then I couldnt play with my friends.
