I be a straight crossdresser. Also, might want to add the options "Bi" and "Asexual/Pansexual" to the poll
Sexy. :3

Further note, I'm gay.

Opinion question: Why do males (generally speaking they are more..extreme than females in their reactions) get so perturbed if a gay guy mistakenly hits on them either by accident or what have you? Is it just the whole "I"m a MAAN" stuff, insecurity, or what do ya'll think?

Plus a xdresser may 'like it in the bum', is that any more of an indictment of gayness than 'sucking dick'? I think not, feel free to disagree - that is, after all, the basis for a healthy debate...
xdresser - are you referring to crossdressing and/or also the site XDress which is the uh aforementioned products are sold? If so then then crossdressers aren't necesarilly gay or straight or whatever. It's just a fetish or just feels good kinda thing, not related to sexuality.

Im straight, but I don't mind bisexuals/gays at all. As long as a gay guy doesn't start trying to chat me up or anything.

EDIT: Though I haven't had a chance to prove my sexuality...

Sorry to single you out, but I'm proving my point. Why? Is it because people might think your gay? How do you react if someone did? (I assume by chat you up meaning hitting on you?)

I'm guessing sexual orientation doesn't affect your interests much. Only the loud gay people visible in media differ much from the crowd. At least that's my prejudice.
Yeah I hate them too. And I'm gay, I'm guessing its because that is what people think of first when i say I'm gay.

Look Its simple, There is a rate, no matter what there is a 20% rate of people not being completely straight. You can be a little gay, you can be 100% queer or just 50% thats what we call "Bi". There is no changing it, if we had a lager number of people in the escapeist you would see a 12% on both gay and les combined and bi about 8%. All leading to 20% The scientist said it, and that's how i see it on most web pages gaming related or not.
I know what you mean about the uh "loud" people...they piss me off to no end and I'll even admit I'm a tad prejudice to people that are a cut-out of the flamboyant stereotype. I'm a bit fem and a bit masculine, depending on the circumstances/mood. Just a bit of a correction: bi doesn't mean 50/50. Sexuality is a complex thing..even if you like guys let's say 90% and girls 10% you could self-identify as gay, it doesn't have to be even to girls/guys, and it could be a mixture. By that I mean romantically attracted to girls and physically by guys or the opposite or what have you.

I am not gay

but it seems these days if your straight and you want to get married to a girl everyone says all these nasty rumors. But if a gay couple gets married everyone says what a great couple and they truly love each other.

it seems heterosexual in generals are on the brink of extinction
Eh..but...whaat? *confused* You made my brain hurt. :( Where do you live? Furthermore how would straight people be "going extinct"? I mean that's the dominant orientation and it's not like gay people -> gay sperm -> gay kids or something like that as some people would have you believe, but how..do you think that? I've only ever experienced the opposite, as in gay couples aren't commited, promiscuious, basically the stereotype. But if you look at the demographics and the studies that have been done you'll find that let's say 10% of gay guys wanted a long-term relationship, that's risen to I don't know 30%~.

lots of people in this thread seem to be scrambling for "oh god oh god I'm straight but I have nothing against gays, honest!!! nothing!!!". perhaps you are insecure that other people would see you as a homophobe. that worrying can't be good for you. relax, defend yourselves when necessary.

edit: a few also keep going "oh I have no problem so long as they don't do nothing to me". that also smacks of the insecurity that others would see you as a gay if you react in any other way than "OH GOD ICKY" when some gay guy asks you out. relaaaaxxx.

I have been avoiding this for some reason, I would normally have gotten involved before 5+ pages... but people can't actually care what my sexuality is, right? XD

EDIT: It would have been fun to have made it a guessing game based on their posts and stuff too, provided people can take a joke. :D

I'm straight, but I have several gay friends, and some tendencies rub off, I've been called gay, and it doesn't bug me. I'm confident in my sexuality, and any assumptions are only based on the fact that I have several close female friends that are just that, friends.

I'm in a weird bind.

Judging by my massive porn collection i am extremley bi. And to be honest I wouldn't mind having sex with a man so I'm attracted to both sexes sexually. But I'm emotionally attracted to women. I want a woman to romantically be with the rest of my life.

I'd bed with a man, but I'd only make breakfest for a woman.

straight, against gay marrige, and my best friend is a lesbian. Sadly she is not a video gamer despite all my attempts to turn her into one.
and WHY are you agains gay marrige? will it affect you in any negative way
I just stick to the idea of marrige being between a man and a woman. It has been that way for centuries. I think another thread had this whole problem solved.

In the eyes of government there are only civil unions between straight people and between gay people.

In the eyes of the church straight people are married and gay people are still in civil unions.

Last I checked, I'm pretty sure I was gay. Last I checked, my boyfriend and I have the same bits, so... yeah, I think I'm one of the fairy folk xD

but there are churches that would love to marry gay people
Yes I over generalized as I was thinking the old highly traditional churches. Was playing Medieval 2 Total War so I think that may have crept into my thoughts.

I apologize.

I'm straight, not really attracted to guys but open to experimenting cuz i'm just cool like that.

Also a big supporter of gay rights and equality. As for the other question, i'd love to see a gay/lesbian main character in a game portrayed as an ordinary person/superhero/spy/whatever but maybe with a lover as a means of driving the story and thats all, and of course it would have to be fun too. I think it would be interesting and unique, but the gaming community isn't ready for it yet, what with 80% of them being immature dicks (not counting most people here! Don't throw stuff at me!!)
