I'm tempted to just say "Yes." but it'll probably get me a probation for low-content posting. So to elaborate a bit; I have about 4 really really good friends, another 4 proper friends, and then about a dozen mates. All of which I regularly hang out with. Can't complain, really.

It's ok. The only reason that I don't wish it were better is because I don't mind being lonely. And I sometimes prefer it that way.

I guess it's also because every time I initiate a conversation, I run out of things to talk about, which results in an awquard silent moment, which IMO probably turns off both mine and the person I'm talking to's interest in each other. I guess I am not very good at chatting with other people for more than 2 minutes unless it's about something I am really into. I am on good terms with pretty much everyone at college though, which I find pretty cool. Pretty much the only time I get a good chance to have a good conversation, is if we start talking about things we are both into. Preferably nothing personal, rather something... informative for me. I like to learn new things, if I learn something really cool from the guy in my first conversation, I am pretty much gonna like him.

It could be better. I could actually talk to people besides my girlfriend at lunch...

Increasing my social life would also help my musical aspirations, as well.

However, now I've realised that I actually find people a bit too exhausting and boring. Very few people I know are genuinely interesting or are capable of a decent conversation so I don't bother with socialising.
tell me about it...

I honestly wish it was better.. my friends live mostly in other towns so I miss them at times, I wish I could see them more often than I do now.

Its good enough for me. Skating friends during the weekdays, everyone else over the weekends. I enjoy my social life.

I wiffle waffle on it. My phonebook is anything but packed, and sometimes I wish I cared more and was more out-going. So then I do go to a friends party, and remember why I prefer small tight circles of friends.

Eh, it got a little meh once my friend moved away and my other friend's been so busy I haven't seen him in months.

I don't like people, but I'm fond of individuals. I keep very few individuals close, avoid the rest, and am too used to it to have any desire to change it.
Ditto.

And ditto. Out of 190 something calls... 175 have been to my girlfriend.

I wish mine were better. Having problems with a new girl, problems with certain friends, don't go out as often as I wish, and I'm stuck inside for the most part since there isn't much else to do.

No, I'm not happy with it right now.

Large group of friends. Dislike all but one.
How are they friends if you dislike them all?

You sound pretty spineless...
...That's very kind of you!

That was more of a throwaway comment than a declaration of my hatred for them. But no, fair point. Unfortunately I live in a tiny hamlet in Scotland, so I really have no-one else to turn to (for another year or so until I'm able to leave). I've just gotten into a habit of calling them friends.

I posted this on my Facebook yesterday:

"Countdown to Glory Dept.: Next Tuesday is the first day of spring semester classes. It is also a marker---only 500 days from that point until June 1, 2012 and my triumphant return to Boston! Gods...it's really coming up fast, isn't it? I need to knuckle down big time to make sure nothing monkey-wrenches these plans. Keep the faith, Beantown Heroes...keep the faith."

Does that answer your question?

Yes I?m fine with it, happy even.
Although it took a little more time than I would have like to realise it. I used to think I needed to ?get out more? but then I realised I actually didn?t need to and I was pretty super after that.
