Please understand me, I don't hate StarCraft 2. I played the original SC and it's expansion to death and that's why I won't be picking up #2. My RTSing days are over. I've played so many RTS games over the years that the whole genre does not appeal to me anymore. Does Starcraft 2 suck? No. But I can't play another RTS, I just can't.

I'll get it.
Not when it comes though. Too expensive in my eyes. I'll wait for a price drop. OH WAIT! ACTIVISION IS PART OF BLIZZARD!! Silly me, I'll wait until I graduate from college until I buy the game.

im just not sure. i mean, it'll be great and the prequel made something like half the population of korea die from playing non-stop, those are all good points. but when i was knee-high to a grasshopper, i bought wc3, and was terrible at it. it wasnt that i didnt get it or anything, but whenever i would start a campaign, 10 seconds in i wouls panic and type in every cheat i knew. i worry that if i buy starcraft, the moment i sit down i will revert into a ten year old desperately searching cheats.

So it would seem that the majority of people are either excited about it or ambivalent. It would seem that haters really are a vocal minority.

As for me, I have it pre-ordered and I'll be picking it up tomorrow. Doing things with friends tonight, so I don't expect to have time to get there. Unfortunately, my humble lappy can't handle anything beyond the low graphics settings. Once this new job kicks into full gear, I'll get a proper desktop and a proper way to experience the game.

I've had mine on preorder since it was announced, as for the fence, I think I broke it when I ran through it long ago.

I pre ordered the game but ended up cancelling my order.

I watched Husky's vid about the state of bnet2.0 and it sounded like another Modern Warfare 2 scenario and I'm not wasting my money again.

Fucking Activision man...
Can you link me to it? I am rather curious.

I'm not on the fence at all. Starcraft 2 will be around for 5 to ten yen years and I plan on buying it in a few years when its cheap and the game comes in a bundle pack. (Dividing up the single player story is dick move Blizzard).

I love RTS's but I am horrible at them... so no, I will not be getting Starcraft 2.

I might watch the Youtube videos and dream though... *sob*

I'm looking forward to getting it when I can, but I'm mainly just in it for the story, and I guess I'm still a little annoyed that we're only getting the one campaign at launch.

I'm terrible at Real Time Strategy. I think that's why I'm going to buy it, though. It's a complex game, it's not an FPS, and I'm BAD at it. (RTS is one of the only genres I'm bad at.)

Not interested, no offense to Starcraft fans.
Same. RTS games are not my style, that and the fact I have no computer that could take it.

No. I wouldn't say I hate starcraft, but it was boring when I played it. It pretty much just looked like Age of Empires in space to me. Oh, and the guy trying to get me to buy it told me that the first year or so of playing it online I shouldn't expect to win a single game... Now why the fuck would anyone buy a game if they were told they would be losing for at least a year straight?

I just hate the fact that I have to be online to play the singleplayer mode. I know that Blizzard is trying to curb piracy with this approach (even though they say that they're doing it to preserve the social experience in single player, which i give a rat's ass about) but I don't like the idea that if my internet goes down, I can no longer play.
