I need the disks, my internet is to damn slow for me to be downloading everything. Although it would be nice not to have to leave the house.

I like steam and their sales. Direct2Drive and Impulse I don't.

Still, liking steam is one thing but should they ever go out of business, I don't have those games anymore :O

I prefer physical copies and I hardly do DLC. I'm too use to it and I like the stuff for special editions like music discs, novelty toys, etc.

I already ditched disks for the most part. There are a few exceptions but I get most of my stuff off Steam now. Some companies are actually combining the two, which I like. Blizzard for example allows you to download any games you have registered on your battle.net account even if you got it with a retail copy.

The inly way to stop them going out of buisness is to buy more games off of steam, buy them now!

I prefer physical discs, but the DRM is crippling, and limited installs? Are you kidding.
Steam bypasses a lot of that fuss, and has better prices.

with the amount of games I've got, physical storage becomes even trickier than Digital storage.

esencially no i like my disks and digital just causes problems read poorly spelt/punctuated. rant below for further details.

i dont want to have to get xbox live and what about special editions with extra goodies in the box. also i can see the reason to want to but waiting for some downloads just takes ages i dont know what its like for xbox or ps3 but it takes ages for my pc. and what about pretty boxes and having to turn on your console to download it yes digital has its benifits cheeper probably dont have to distract people by glittering all the time when you go shopping to get games, no waiting in lines, get preordered stuff the day it comes out.but what if i wont to play it on my friends console and what about the stores they will only be selling consoles and merchantdice and what if a server or the internet stops/slows for an afternoon disc games mean you can get them and pay for them without having to surf the net to buy them.
and memory sticks are simularly flawed rant!!! rant!! blah! blah! blah!

dont bother listing to the man behind the curtain and agian no disks rule.

Combining the two actually makes the discs worthless. Like people who bought Civ V on disc only to find that they had to wait until Steam gave them permission to play it.
Well there are some times when having the disk helps, such as being in a position where you are temporarily without internet access but want to play the game when you get it back (power outage, traveling, etc) but I can see your point. Like I said I already gave up on disks for the most part so it doesn't really effect me.
