No one will hire me because I'm I'm too weird ;_; It's not even the way I look. You know something's up after talking to me for 5 minutes. People come up to me & say "You seem approachable" bt interviewers think I'm "intimidating."

I haven't been accepted for awhile, it all started because a popular kid wanted to make fun of me in middle school and all the little sheep wanted to be cool so they started bullying me, yadda, yadda. So mostly now, I'm just VERY cautious about approaching people and generally keep to myself.

Well thats your society dude, I also completely support the seperation between church and state. The United States is a little behind schedule in my opinion. But you would be more socially accepted here for those beliefs - in certain parts of this country I mean.

ya...
This also depends on the part of the country I'm in. Amongst younger people, my ideas are accepted, but people on my age and older, they think I'm a dangerous radical revolutinoary and a rebel.

I'm not really too concerned about being 'socially accepted' I'd prefer to concentrate on being 'exceptionally social', thankyouverymuch.

Not so much. I'm more socially tolerated.

There's a group of people that I can hang out with, but I'm really only there because they occasionally notice me and say "Hi".

look, i still go to high school and to me social acceptance is retarded becuse all of the stupid "popular"(and by that i mean they cant find the U.S. on a bloody map!) kids will end up being hobos and crack dealers while i become a multi-billionare. so who wins in the end? me... as long as obama dosen't skrew things up.

I'm not ridiculed too much. I think most people just don't care/don't want to try anything in case I'm mentally unstable or something terrible like that.

No, I am not socially accepted.

It used to bother me, but as I have grown up I have realised that I do not actually like people.

I have a few good friends but I need popularity like a hammer needs cheese.

I'm extremely accepted. That doesn't mean I'm hugely popular by any means, just that the people I associate myself with accept me and like me. It helps that I overcome all the videogame-induced urges to slay everyone in the room and attempt to be as nice as I can be. I also come up with the occasional good joke which leads people to further like me. This, unfortunately, has yet to get me a girlfriend. But for now I'm okay with that, I haven't the money nor the time to date another human being, much less commit to any long term relationship (Which step of loneliness am I on again? The acceptance or the excuses...).

So yes, I am accepted by those who know me and at least tolerated by those who pass me by on the street, as far as I know...

It's not difficult to be accepted in society and anyone who tells you otherwise is trying too hard.

Yes, yes I am.

Short answer, yes. I'm fairly intelligent, good-looking, nice, so yes. But since I'm a weirdo, and not a reads-cheap-fantasy-paperbacks-weirdo, a genuine weird person, the kind you might find in a novel or a movie (or possibly a Deadpool comic book, now that i think about it) but that would never be the main character, I still feel a little left out since I'm bad at normal social interaction.
