Completely introverted, I kill anything and everything I come into contact with.

On topic, though, I am definitely introverted, but its fading quickly, as I'm starting to care less about what people think of me and more about passing school.

lol generally not, thats whats so great about the internet, the anonimity of it all.
due to people talking bad about me in school and people beliveing these things im not exactly mr popular in the quad. and genrally in a open social enviroment, I am seen as a 'thug' of a person, well according to my family *sign*

I move in a couple of social circles- my freinds fom my old 6th form, who are baisically the geek clique. Then there are high school freinds who generally live in my local area who i hang about with in pubs, parks and remote places late at night.
Then of course there are a couple of other random people, such as family freinds who i have grown up with- sometimes i'm invited to a few of theit socials with their own circlce of freinds. There is also a couple of people whom i know from the archery club i used to go to, and sometimes i get invited to their socials, but not often- usually its just chatting over MSN.

Dispite my introverted nature, i seem socially accepted. Probably because i am very easy going, and generally nice, i hope. This means i have socalised with people from all different social backgrounds, but now it leaves me in the difficult position of deciding which sort of people i would want to make freinds with when i go to uni.

I grunt at people, small children are afraid of me, I shout at activists on the street and I openly support the separation of church and state (yes, we are still medieval in those terms in Finland). So that would be a big no.
Finland doesn't have seperated church and state?

As the title suggests, Im wondering if the people at the escapist are introverted, Or not accepted and if so, Why?

So Vote, Post why and try to be civil... I dont wanna cause a flame war

I'm a leader, I've never sought acceptance from someone else's group.

When I move into a new area I tend to live in isolation for a long time while slowly building a cult of personality where I draw followers in with my charisma. Not intentionally though, I lack the confidence and ambition to do it intentionally.
It's not that useful either, because I've never lived in one place longer than a few years.

*from fetal position*:

Not really. Maybe if I really tried I could be, but I enjoy being a nerd and like having nerd friends.

I wish I could say that I didn't care, but I kinda do at times. (many people who say they don't are probably in denial)

As for introvertedness, ABSOLUTELY (although I have an undisclosable very good reason for that).

Never made a friend myself (had the fortune of people coming up to me) and can only really talk freely inside a classroom. I often feel awkward there too though lolz.

Despite all this, however, I do seem to be oddly tolerated (probably has something to do with the fact that I don't ask for more than that).

Very true... Although with me it's more the fact that people can't see your face, you have some chance to delete what you write, and (usually) some time to think about what you say before you say it. I have a lot less trouble talking to people I know over the internet that I would almost never talk to in real life... It's just easier for me.

I'm accepted but my physical problems are troublesome, so it's an easy hit to make for someone against me.

I'm smart, friendly and pretty. I do tend to be socially accepted.

Now. I used to be dreadful at the whole socialising thing, which led to little social acceptance.

I don't care.
I've got great friends, work for a great band, I have a wonderful girlfriend and I have a very close family.
If I'm socially accepted or not doesn't effect me in the slightest.

I'm a heynodder. If someone sees me, I'll probably get a nod, or maybe a hey.

I stole that from an extremely mediocre novel.

Yes... Well I'm just a pretty normal looking/behaving kind of person, so I think I'm accepted enough.

I'm extremely introverted. I don't really have any friends and have been questioning for some time if they're even really necessary.

Different strokes, I guess.

If our presence are welcomed in society, we wouldn't be posting in this thread, haha.

As for myself, it's rather interesting. I think people "tolerate" me very well as a professional. Most of my colleagues respect my opinion and see me as a valuable resource, ie. I'm an excellent database. But not once have I ever been able to convince anyone of anything. Hell, I have a hard time convincing people that 1+1=2, or that my hair color is black. That speaks pretty loudly about how much they value me as a person.
Ultimately, I have no one else to blame but myself. I know that I am not well loved because I don't hold back when I criticize people--but more so because I'm willing to question people. I'm learning to shut up lately, but it's just not coming very well.

I would say socially ignored. Im not very good with basic everyday social interaction. Im a little weird(more than a little) and because I dont have enough freinds to go out and get drunk or whatever and then tell the whole room about it at school the next day, no im not popular.I do have a boyfreind tho, but ill be moving away from him when I go to uni. at least no one knows each other yet.

I am not socially accepted. I would rather play video games than talk to people face to face.

I don't care if I am socially accepted either, I enjoy playing video games, reading, and watching TV. If people can't accept that they don't have to talk to me.
