I couldn't possibly be offended. It reminds me too much of Nerderotica from Something Positive. Anyway, it seems to be a working business model since they got more customers than they could handle.

Im insulted that the fact that they think gamers don't have a life can't talk to girls or don't even have a girlfriend.

If you know who is actually going to use this you must slap them across the face take them to your local mall and tell them to talk to a freaking a girl instead of paying to play with one

I voted never heard of it because I think I saw a thread about it on here some time ago but didn't take it any further.

Haha why are so many "males" on this site so offended by this? Ridiculous, insecure much? Gamers are not some minority, give me a break and stop being so god damn pius about this ever so persecuted subculture.

Of course im not offended, why the hell would i be?
I think my offense stems more from the fact that gaming is still seen as a subculture, once playing games becomes internationally accepted as something people do rather than a 'way of life' then a site like this would be seen less offesively. Thi swould have passed without comment if a cam site had started including a service where you could play games while connected via webcam but the fact an entire site/business may have been built around it annoys me to the point of offense

Nope, not offended at all. Those girls are making money, and it's not like they're selling their bodies. Not gonna lie, if given the chance, I'd work for them. It's getting paid to play video games. Hell yeah.

Nope. Not offended at all. It speaks little about gamers and more about desperate dudes. If there were no other sites like this then yes, it would be directed at gamers. But as it is it is just taking advantage of pathetic, sad, lonely little people which inhabit all walks of life so is nothing personal and says nothing about us at all.
Exactly... As gaming becomes more and more "mainstream," it leads to more and more lonely people taking it up as their way of feeling big. This site is just a way for some company to cash in on these peoples' personal issues by offering a "best of both worlds, but it'll cost ya," kind of deal.

I wonder how many people here who are offended have a significant other.. or one that in reality matches what they had hoped for (Like the Japanese Wifu)

I'm not offended. The fact they have people buying means that such people exist. So whats to be offended about?

It's like a black guy in new orleans being man about a new watermelon shop and calling it racist... even though every other black dude (And white dude) eats there! If they aren't offended eating there, why should you be when you never go near the place?

Quit being wuss', quit crying, get off your cross and use the wood to build a bridge and GET OVER IT.

Seems this site actually got it right this time. Not offended, but I'm certainly not gonna use it, and I certainly think it's stupid as fuck.
exactly. not really offended by it but never in my life have i come home to play MW2 and say to myself "i wish there was a way that i could spice this game up sexually" this is a game where the whole objective is to make war NOT LOVE. and i swear to god if these two "playdates" take their conversation outside of Private chat, thats not gonna end well. i don't want to hear about how she "ate that guys rocket"...

but then again i have a girlfriend so maybe that's why i find this stupid.

I think it's just dumb as hell, I wouldn't say insulted as much as disgusted by the idea. If you are desperate enough to pay the game hookers just pay a real one for fucks sake. It's amazingly less pathetic to pay for sex than to pay for women to play games with you.

Wow I never thought I could make buying a prostitute sound less sad and yet here we are...

I couldn't care less. If people are really upset about this they could just ignore it and it should go away.
There's worst things in the world than GameCrush, things like Street Fighter movies :p

I am not insulted.
I even think it is a good idea.
Maybe there is a lonly guy out there. And maybe by using this service he will be a little less lonly. Or he will get some interaction with the opposite sex, ehich he has wanted for some time now.

I call this a win win situation the guy gets what he wants and maybe he will be a bit happier after this. And the girl will get money wich will certainly make her happy.
You shouldn't judge people for trying to find a hole in the market and you certainly shouldn't judge people for trying to make themselves happier. There not hurting anyone( well except the guys wallet but he probably saves money on dates)

I agree with Daedalus

A dating site for gamers? Sure, I wouldn't really say anything about that... but GameCrush seems..Neh. I haven't read what the site itself says, but i'll just quote from geekologie where I first heard about it "For a minimum wage-y $6.60 you can play 10 minutes of XBox Live with a scantily clad strumpet via webcam."

I mean, come on? That's just...sad.
Wow, now that I know what it is it sounds very stupid... I feel sad for those who are desperate enough to actually go for it, but hey, some likes to do that too... I am still not offended though. That people are desperate for anything connected to sex isn't new and the stereotype about gamers wanting it more than others isn't old either. Let them worship their stereotypes and milk the desperate suckers for all their money. I think we can all agree that those who do are kinda stupid.

I can technically vote for none of these options, as I am of several minds.

Firstly, I think it's fantastically hilarious, in fact this is a layer cake of hilarity built on a simple formula. Vagina + games = profit! It's tragically hilarious that this exists, it's even more hilarious that people will pay for this service, but most hilarious of all are the two camps of schmuck we'll have using it; lonely nerds that justify paying for a woman to sit and pretend to like you while you play video games as being somehow more meaningful that phone sex, and the lonely nerds that will use this service only to feel cheated because the expected something akin to meaningful satisfaction in a surrogate but temporary "relationship" when they could have saved a bundle, called a 976 number and gotten more jollies pleasuring themselves to the sultry voice of woman that at least pretends to care that you have had some kind of sexual gratification. Let's not kid ourselves, this is about sex.

As a man I find it enlightening that people out there really think male gamers are this desperate for the fleeting attention to what is tantamount to a prostitute with a PlayStation 3.

Finally, as a gamer and as a man I feel kind of sad that we've been, once again, publicly relegated to socially retarded basement-dwelling loners incapable of attracting anything with human breasts without paying for their time upfront.

I find that the formula is simpler than that: vagina + X = profit

Maybe we should look at this the other way around. The gamer niche is getting large enough to be noticed by the sleazy underside of the internet.
These are the guys that add the X to the formula so to speak, they jump on anything popular.
