Poll: Attack or Defense?

I like being on defense. I like being able to wear down my opponent when they send their froces head on into my meat grinder like defenses. While this is happening, I like to be able to launch critical strikes at their bases and eliminate their means of producing more units. Then, when their numbers have dropped considerably, do I venture out and deliver the coup de grace and end the fight. It's all about defense and counter attacks for me.

I prefer defense as I find attack usually turns into well for me select all units and decimate this building and then this one and so on and so forth until there is nothing left on the screen or I have to make a new army.

Defense because I can sit on all the ammo dumps and eat all the donuts.

Attack. If you take out your enemy fast enough, you don't need strong defense.
I'm naturally aggressive, anyway.

defense, it feels more cooperative and strategic then just rushing the enemy's front. Also, there are advantages like knowing where the attackers are going and being able to choose where you want to take cover.

Well, it depends what games I suppose...
But mainly it's the offensive for me.

I'm the kind of person that doesn't have any moves that don't put the opposition in a worse way on Pokemon

I mean, even on Batman Arkham Asylum I go around silently killing every enemy I can, instead of slowly stalking them. Attack is better than defence

IRL i love defence, i play airsoft with about 20ish other people so we get some good games going. The way we play is one team advances twords some power lines, and annother team defends, if you die its like tag, your on the other team. The game ends when one team gets everyone but one from the other team.

Its really fun, i set up ambushes and they always work just to plan if people listen to what i say.

In games i still like defence, just my play style, but i DON'T CAMP, i stay in an area and gaurd it, like i'll run through a few buildings covering the same position.

i am better at defence, my defence strategys in most games are usualy undefeatable by most of my friends, but i cant enjoy it anywhere near as much as a successfull attack, nothing beats the pleasure of watching your army trample some poor noobs base while they cry.

In Battlefield: Bad Company (the only game I have that used the attack/defense type mode), I prefer to be attacker, as there's fewer restrictions on you. As defender, when a charge is set, the announcer practically screams at you to go defuse it, but as attacker, when the defense does, it's not that big of a deal. Also, no one gets pissed at you if you hang out and go Rambo on the defenders.

i like being on the attack cause i love killing and if it moves and fires in my direction i'll kill it so yea i suck at capture the flag

For me it really depends on the situation, in some games I enjoy tank rampaging though an enemy base, and others I like to sit in a hidey hole picking of guys who come at the objective, but overall I prefer defense.

Its cool setting up a good defence and then get 100303000 asses swamping your castle/fortress/town/thing.

Attacks cool as well, but i still like defence more.

In CS? Offense, well, unless it's hostage defense, then I like to defend. But in anything else, I'm an offensive guy.

i enjoy sniping but thats more of an over watch sort of thing... i do both i guess
