As long as it's more challenging than Fontaine. I loved Bioshock but the final boss was such a pushover, a bit of an anti-climax to an otherwise fantastic game.

Yes, thank you for your well thought-out input that has facts to back it up.

Now, take a deep breath, you're turning purple.

How can Tenenbaum be the villain, in my verison of the game she was like my closest ally, I helped her save the little girls.
Yeah laugh it up "Oh Vrex saved little girls what a wuss."
But I'll still have one thing you child murderers will never have, a SOUL.

p.s If you did save the little sisters please disregard.

The last one was way too easy... You turn into fire? I use my ice ability. You turn into ice? I use fire. You send sentries at me? I hack them and send them back.

I didn't know exploding buckshot was the opposite to lightning though...

I'm hoping the game will avoid the whole formulaic 'end boss' idea and come up with something else after the letdown in the first game. A Metroid/Ocarina of Timeesque escape from a collapsing Rapture being chased by a Big Sister could be a great ending sequence. I'm sure the devs can come up with a less obvious idea though.
Great now I am going to have nightmares about the end of Bioshock 2 being 1 long QTE ripped directly from RE4's rolling rock bit or RE5's falling statue fiasco.

I really hope it is big and multi levelled. None of this I am going to morph crap but a huge boss where you have to get to higher levels and take it out 1 piece at a time. Although since the art of the final boss has long since died I don't expect much.

I'm going new unnamed person for me. The original story was great and I'm sure they'll deliver an excelent story for the return under the sea.

The last boss battle will be an internal struggle involving your brain which translates as a Pipe minigame.

I think it might be the big sister because 2K has mentioned that that the Big Sister harvests adam directly, making her stronger and stronger as the game goes on. that could provide a good "shes getting stronger and stronger and ends up as a complete monster by the end" which would be better than Fontaine transitioning from thinky villain to monster all in one go

I think that "big sister" is going to be that one woman who created the little sisters, and that depending on the choice you make good or evil that will determine the final boss fight.

If it's someone from the first game, Tenenbaum was kinda talked up to be some sort of legend. I'd say it'll probably be someone new though.

A more interesting question, perhaps, is why, when the first game was so easy, they decided to make you into the biggest, most bad ass big daddy there has ever been. The Big Sister introduction is a direct result of them making the main character too powerful (something that Jack, in BS1 already suffered from...) I can't see any reason to be at all excited about a game which is simply going to build on the flaws of the previous game.

Jack isn't necessarily dead, we just caught a glimpse of his death. That might take place AFTER bioshock 2.

Isn't it a prequel? I don't think you'll be allowed to kill anyone that was in BioShock 1 in a prequel, that way temporal silliness lies.

It's gonna be a new person, then.
