I've seen reports from a reputable source that the chemical know as dihydrogen monoxide must be banned. Here's why, it can cause excessive sweating and vomiting, it's a major component in acid rain, can cause severe burns in it's gaseous state, accidental inhalation can kill you, it contributes to errosion and has been found in the tumors of cancer patients. Now do you believe we should ban this chemical?

You know what's even worse? Dihydrogen Monoxide is capable of dissolving other toxins, which in turn makes it impossible to analyze them. Given DHM's abundance, you have a serious problem if you want to for example determine the arsenic concentration of gardening soil via GC-MS, but do not have time to prepare one of those SPE cartridges.
Furthermore, DHM is chiefly responsible for the rusting of iron containing alloys. Or rather, the reaction takes place in DHM, which would of course never happen if those beurocratic asshats finally banned this horrendous stuff!

It is also rumored to have been given to Soviet and Nazi troops before battle so they would fight more fiercely. Wouldn't you ban something that clearly makes people more violent? Not only that but the US government has been quietly distributing this substance to the troops for years. Clearly Dihydrogen Monoxide is the root of all war crimes and its use is sanctioned by the UN! We must change this before all of humanity starts killing each other!
