lol he's British he has no freedom of speech.
Yes we do. We have more free speech than anyone really. But, America has no free speech. What more can you want from a country?

OT: America, perma-banning since 2010. They can't ban him from walking on the Earth. People shouldn't have that power, ever. Native American Indians had the right idea; man cannot own land.
They also agreed to sell the land and were suprised when the white man began to kick 'em off. Can't sell what you don't own. Too bad they didn't realize we don't care.

...Anyways, that's what happens when you screw with the man protected by 300 people with banhammer rights.

I don't think that it's at all fair, but I do find it hilarious that someone was basically permabanned from America for abusive language.
wow, now that you mention it like that, that's horrible

horrible horrible horrible

wow, the government can't punish people for saying anything, even to the president (heck ESPECIALLY to the president). You should be able to say whatever you want to the president without any fear of reprisal from the government.. might get a punch in the mouth from a "patriot", but the government should have no jurisdiction over speech.
I believe the applicable term here is "Double standard".
Also interesting:
One prez gets fired for having an affair, in his office. Another wipes his ass with his country's ideals and nothing happens.
Which president was fired over an affair again?

And the fun thing about this country is that you've got many different people with many different ideals. Bush Jr. has done more to wipe his ass with this countries ideals than Obama ever has from my perspective. COUGH PATRIOT ACT COUGH.
It was Clinton. Though he wasn't removed from office; He was impeached. Big difference.
Also, it wasn't the affair, rather, it was the perjury in front of Congress that did it.

He got banned from visiting America... for hurting Barack Obama's feelings? Can you say "gross abuse of power"?

As Americans, we still have to take responsibility for allowing the suspension of Habeus Corpus among other fundamental liberties under GWB, and their continuing suspension under Barack Obama.

Jeez, calm down, Obama. No need to start banning everyone...
Seriously, though, he shouldn't have been banned for calling him a prick. If Obama has a public email adress, he's gotta expect that not everyone will be emailing him just to say they think he's doing well. Plenty of people out there don't like him, he should accept that.
I dont think it was Obama himself who dropped this banhammer, the FBI intercepted it, and made a decision.

You don't fuck with leader of free world unless you got a army

I agree. Obama would have been more level headed about it. Remember, this is a man who called Kanye West a jackass and worked out a racism incident over a couple beers.

If this is true (i doubt it)it's idiotic. I live in the US and I can tell you that if somebody threatens, in detail, to kill you, the police (at least in my experience) don't do anything. They say they can't arrest somebody for making threats.
Even if he did threaten to kill the president, who cares? It's ok for the Muslim community to threaten the creators of a cartoon for making fun of them but god forbid somebody insult the president.

The thing is though, he's banned from visiting. It's not like he lived here and was kicked out. Who cares? Who would want to visit the US, what's here that you can't find anywhere else?
Actually, uttering death threats IS a punishable offence, and people SHOULD be arrested if they do so. And the Muslim community didn't make those threats, it was a few individuals, and they WHERE dealt with. Check your facts before posting, please.

Aren't the more important questions here how did he get the president's email, and can drunk people really type?
