What happened to free speech? I believe we should have the right to call world leaders what we like.
Not unless you want to be called a racist. Freedom of speech my buttox. You can't say anything without meeting scorn from people because you don't share their views. I mean, has anyone heard that quote from the French philisophe Voltair? "I may disagree in what you believe, but I will fight for it to my dying day." or something like that. I do believe my country's freedom of speech was somewhat related, if not founded on that quote. I just wish that we were still upholding it... I think I'll stay in America as long as videogames stay untouched. :)

Banned from a country because you called someone there a prick.
The ironic part? It's a America, to the country that advocates free speech to the point of civil war.

He should definitely be punished, or at the very least fined, but I wouldn't say being kept out of the country is exactly fair.

Not fair. Is their country though and they can kick out who ever they like. Unless it was an American. I wonder what they would have done if it was an American? Fine them?

i think the point was more like" i may dissagree utterly with what u say but i would fight for your right to say it" not picking just felt ur misquote conveyed less of the point than my misquote.

He got banned from visiting America... for hurting Barack Obama's feelings? Can you say "gross abuse of power"?
The FBI permabanned him, they just don't want anything to be sent to their new precious little kid that could hurt his feelings and make him not sign things.

Anyway this is nothing, I got Hiroshima nuked by calling Truman a camping n00b and threatening to teabag him

It's nice to hear FBI doesn't just oppress Americans and that the whole world gets to be screwed over by jumpy FBI agents totally ignoring what the US was all about: "Welcome new citizen, hatred for the government is appriciated, since we do not want to go all dictatorshipy-queenie.XD

Do you have any idea what freedom of speech is? Yes you are allowed to say you hate the president. Yes people are allowed to call you racist for some idiotic reason, if they were not, there would be no freedom of speech.
Saying freedom of speech is under fire because people don't agree with your words is just silly. I hope it was some kind of joke, I hope nobody in this country is that stupid.
Actually, I was. :) Sorry if you read it wrong, but you hit it on the head. People DO have the right to say what they want, and thats the beauty of it. However, what I should of said is that people are literally getting in trouble for saying stuff about our president/political system. Most recently one of our top generals was "asked to step down" after he said the president was "unfit for commanding troops". Another example is that people's reputations have been smeared to nothing by the media for not agreeing with the government and/or president, pulling the race card every time, especially if they were caught in a corner. Joe the Plumber is a great example, if you know about it. Once again, sorry if I misspoke, but like I said, you are absolutely right.

Can you even read? I'm assuming so, since you had to read the title of the thread. Obama didn't do anything, it was the FBI. And according to them, he made threats. End of Story, that boy done fucked up.
The real question is what would have happened if the positions were reversed (Obama get's drunk and calls random person and threatens to kill.) Would Obama be banned 0_0.

I got the feeling it wasn't a terror threat. Did he say he would blow up someone or somthing? I thought he just ranted with some swear words.
