Oh fuck yes, I will SO be getting this game! Looks like the best dance sequence since the opening of FFX-2, only Bayonetta is even hotter than Yuna!

I agree with you except for the Yuna part. She might be if she loses the glasses and lets her hair down (like the nerdy girl from every 80's movie) but until then I maintain Yuna is the hotter of the 2.

Sounds like pretty ordinary J-pop, really. You probably won't even notice it if you've played DDR before.

The game itself... I hate everything about how it's marketed, and I hate the fact that a major selling point is the ludicrous fanservice, but when Famitsu and Edge give it 100% scores? I can't... Not buy this. It's a genre I love, made by a developer I want to support, and the gameplay is apparently amazing, and yet the rest of the game is disgusting. What the hell.

The last time I felt so conflicted about a form of light entertainment, I was watching Kodomo no Jikan. Christ.

Oh... Oh, God... What the fuck did I just watch? And that's presumably a QTE that the player has to make happen?

Somehow, I doubt that this game's getting released in Australia...

They obvously tried playing the sexuality card. It didn't work that well. I feel like I just watched through a Disneyfied Baywatch-dance sequence on acid.

I think you and most other people are taking the game a little to seriously. The game seems very tounge in cheek to me, and if not? At least it is being loud about what is going on rather than trying to hide it under some stupid lair or respectability. However I would be very surprised if it is serious unless this is some sort of strange balancing act with Okami where there was no sexualisation of the main character at all so this one has to do it in every way possible.

I actually loved the music, but I used to play a lot of DDR so I kinda have to like J Pop. Also, that clip with the horse and the exploding vagina made me laugh, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to take this seriously or not, so I'm going to go ahead and laugh at the over the top WTF element at play.
