Spike Speigel is most definitely up there. He actually has a linear character arc and is one of the most likeable protagonists that I've seen in anime. Guts from Berserker is in the same league. Seeing as the thread has changed from 'strongest anime character' to a subjective 'best-in-show' you might as well throw in Vegeta as well, as less two-dimensional character from DBZ (Although he does whinge and complain and gasp a lot).BlackIronGuardian said:

Al tho he is an rather obscure character, hes a pretty bad ass villain. And thats why I like Dio Brando.
