Brood War
This.

Despite not being much of an RTS gamer, StarCraft: Brood War is the most memorable expansion pack I've ever played. It was basically what you'd expect in an epic sequel, but at a reduced price.

I thought Wrath of the Lich King was good. Arthas was a great character(for an MMO) and kicked a whole lot of ass. I love cata, but it just doesn't seem as epic.

Otherwise...borderlands expansions are pretty cool, though zombies one is weak.

I really liked uncharted2's siege pack. The siege mode played perfectly in the maps that came in the pack due to their size and depth and was fun but not as awesome in the other maps. Oh and it had new character skins.

Don't know if they count as expansions in the traditional sense, but I loved Borderlands' DLC. The main game left me craving more, and the four new adventures Gearbox released satisfied my need gloriously.
Is the Claptrap one worth getting? I've been toying with the idea but I was disappointed with the Secret Armoury and Zombie Island due to:

1. All the driving

2. All the grinding with barely any new enemies

3. I found no good guns in it

General Knoxx for Borderlands was pretty amazing. I also liked Undead Nightmare for Resident Evil 5. Finally back to the roots!

Runner up is the mappack for MW2. So much content for such a small price!!!!!

Dawn of War:Dark Crusade hands down!

That game was the first Dawn of War game and helped me get into RTSs and video games itself! Plus, it keeps getting better and better.

Here's proof
yeah I would have to agree with that altho in a couple months Ill bet it will be retribution for dow 2, sounds like every race is getting its own campaign and they are putting allot of work into making all the heroes awesome

I think my favorite expansion pack to a game was for Age of Mythology and I believe it was just simply called Age of Mythology the Titans. Atlantian's sporting an army of heroes just to crush the Egyptians whom nobody liked (atleast in my circle of friends) was worth the $20 extra.

Either Halo 3: ODST (yes, it is an expansion, but it's a damn good one) or Dawn of War: Dark Crusade.
I never thought 4 hours of content for 60 bucks was very good
See, I bought it way after release for cheap, so I never experienced the pricing problems.
I got ODST for free as compenstation my 360 broke so i could never understand the hate against it

Also Lair of the Shadow Broker for Mass Effect 2 best DLC evar!

Conversely Witch Hunt DLC for Dragonage was the worst DLC ever

Halo ODST? Hell no. (seriously...just...no)

Dark Crusade? Hell yeah.

Aww man that mod is cool, too bad my harddrive died and I lost all my stuff...

'side from that.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat (its not exactly an expansion, but its not entirely a sequel either)

Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts (2 new campaigns and 2 new armies, awesome)

Age of Mythology: The Titans

Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil

And while not exactly expansions, Episodes One and Two...WHERE THE HELLS THREE!!!???

I have that mod. It is glorious.

Dark Crusade is my absolute favourite expansion with Brood War being second.

I have to give props to Soulstorm as well since its failure inspired the Firestorm over Kaurava team to make the Dark Crusade mod seen above.

If Secret Armory and Zombie Island didn't do it for you, Claptrap probably won't. It's a new setting and a few new enemies, but apart from that, it's really just more of the same.

Where is the poll?

Also, too many topics about females 'round here right now. I read the topic as "Breast Expansion Pack".

For me, the best expansion pack I've ever gotten would be a tie between Broken Steel for Fallout 3, and The Ballad of Gay Tony for GTA IV. However, the Shivering Isles add-on for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion would be an extremely close second.
