Super Nintendo because a lot of my favorite games are on that system: Super Metroid, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy 6, Super Mario World, and Kirby Superstar just to name a few

No seriously N64 because it was the first 1 I played and Super Mario 64, Occarina of Time, and Mario Kart were all I needed to make my life amazing

SNES you fools.

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past?

Super Mario World?

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island?

Super Metroid?

Super Mario Bros. All Stars (AKA SNES remake of Super Mario Bros. 3 and some stragglers)?

Plus, the most comfortable controller ever besides the 360 controller.

Good lord. Children, really? The Nintendo 64? That's your pick? Is this site entirely comprised of 12 year olds who's first system was the N64? The SNES wins this one hands down, with the GBA at a close second and the N64 at a distant, distant third.

Gamecube.
Best graphics, most enjoyable games, most comfy controller.
Plus my first brand new console and such, so nostalgia points.

The Super NES why? I am actually not quite sure always have thought it was the best nintendo console even now, the strange thing is that I never had or actually played a SNES back in the day but now I can't stop playing it!

Easy, SNES. The golden era of platformers, JRPGs and game music. Plus, you could get the Super Gameboy cart for it and play all your GB/GBC games on it too.

The N64, though the DS comes in a close second for me. I've gotten more play time out of my DS then out of most other consoles I've owned.

N64 was my most played so I will go with that.
Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Donkey Kong 64, The Beginning of Mario Party, and the list goes on.
So many great games came out.

juat an observation but im guessing the lack of vote for the nes might be from the fact that a large amount of people voting arent old enough to have played it when it was relevent?

Gameboy Advanced SP, plays all the great GB/GBC games with a backlight, it has a few great SNES ports and has some of the best titles of a nintendo console. Also it's tiny and awesome.

I'm a child of the 2D gaming era. Those were good games, by and large. I loved me some SNES. Super Metroid, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy 6 (3 in the us release), Earthbound, gawd and so much much more!

The NES was nice, and the N64 was a first for Nintendos jump to 3D. But the SNES was the sweet spot for awesome gaming for me. I'll even go back, plug it in, and enjoy some of my classics in todays modern environment.

(Today, there's to much focus on realism, graphics, etc etc etc. It's rare to find a game that remembers that FUN is the core of the entertainment value.)

While I don't play it anymore, the Gamecube will always have a place in my heart.
Maybe not the best when it comes to success, but the thing got some darn good games.
