i can't decide between Cube and 64, though most people will say the 64 due to nostalgia...like i have
Ok i just felt old. if i think nostalgia i think nes and snes. I still see the 64 as that new thing that destroyed 2d gaming.

All the consoles of nintendo were great (yes that includes the wii) but after the snes i have had the feeling that nintendo(or any other company for that matter)has been able to reach that level of greatness.

This is probaly nostalgia talking.

N64, with gamecube so very close. N64 get it for Ocarina of time over Windwaker.
But gamecube had Melee?! My head hurts with the internal struggle.

Probably SNES, sidescrolling greatness. My collection for it is wonderful, loveeee going through it.

Although i'll have to jumble all of the gameboys into one due to the fact that each iteration of Pokemon persuades me to purchase a GB.

i definitely have to go for the N64, its what i grew up on and its what started me gaming, The N64 and Banjo Kazooie, if it wasn't for that, i would probably have a life these days

I'm gonan say wii, if anything because every vote for gamecube is stupid.

The wii may not have as many great games made specificly for it as teh gamecube BUT it can play gamecube games, with gamecube controllers, so everything teh gamecube can do, teh wii can do, but it also does otehr stuff. So all it requires for the wii to be better than the GC is one single game that gives just a few moments of enjoyment, and even thoughits catalogue of good games are not that large, theres still some godo titles, which you couldn't play on the GC, where every single title on teh GC is avalible on the Wii with GC controllers.
Well that's not how everyone looks at it, it's through the Gamecube timeline we remember all the great games that was released for it. It was a console that took a step in the right direction.

I see the Wii as the down fall of Nintendo and even though it can still use Gamecube remotes, you still need to use the fucking Wiimotes to turn it on! Worst console I have bought so far.
I'm fully aware that my point of view isn't "the truth" in this, or any other case (cep't for bacon, bacon is awesome no matter what anyone else says)
I just look at it's function, i don't care what the gamecube was back in teh day (i have one myself and i really liked it btw) cause we live in the present, and no matter how good soemthing was back in teh day doesn't make it better today.
Yeah you have to turn it on with wii-motes (i think at least, haven't tried not to) but to me thats a really small price to pay in order to play the good game son it.

The only functional benefits i can think of that the GC have compared to teh wii is
Price, it's prolly cheaper to get a GC than a wii, if all you plan to do is play GC games anyway.
Looks, this is purely a matet rof taste, but they look different, so some people will liek one over the other.
Shape, sortof liek looks, but also helps if it absolutely has to fit in somewhere, and again, this is minor, and can go in favor for eitehr depending on where you want to put it.

But feel free to have your own oppinion, it doesn't offend me or makes me think bad of you in any way, different oppinions are (IMO) way better than sucking up and pretending to agree with people you think says something stupid.

Favorite will always be the SNES.

The library was extraordinary.
Agreed, SNES was a great console in itself for the controller design and hardware, but it got the best game library there is on any console by my book. The Wii gains a few points because it lets you play the old classic SNES games such as the Donkey Kong series, but the SNES is simply the best of all.
I discussed this with my friend the other day and we both had to agree on SNES being the best.

Hmm... well there's childhood fave and current fave

Childhood fave: SNES (I think my hands actually moulded to the shape of the controller when I got ALttP)

Current fave: DS. Yes, there's a lot of crappy casual games to sift through, but it's worth it for the few nuggets of gold like Phoenix Wright and Rythm Paradise :3

SNES, because it's like an early N64 + Final Fantasy.

Although N64 had Goldeneye and Conker... well, it's a toss-up. I'll say SNES because I had a PS1 anyway.

SNES- This is the console I had as a child amazing memories playing all sorts of games on this bad boy
GBC- Also a childhood favorite. I would spend days fixating on a pokemon game (I had Red,Yellow and Silver) back in the day
GC- The console I would played throughout middle and high school. It did suffer a premature death because lack of support from developers and Nintendo, but in it's prime it had amazing games that I would play again and again because of how compelling the story was.

I went with the GameCube, but it was not an easy choice for me.

the gameboy. nobody could touch the gameboy! the lynx and gamegear both had much better graphics but the gameboy just annihilated them both!
